Beta AR Jacke Damen

This jacket was my intro to Arcteryx, and I loved it so much, I now have multiple Arcteryx items. But the hem on this particular jacket fell apart in the wash suddenly, and while I was relieved when Arcteryx lived up to its lifetime guarantee by telling me they'd replace the jacket with a new one... I just visited the store and discovered the current Beta AR jackets do not fit me at all -- I'm a size 6 woman who is 5'4", but I have hips. Nothing crazy, but I am not built like a boy. These jackets do not fit around my hips, unless I go up to a size that's way too big everywhere else. I tried on the snowboarding jackets, and they are completely straight-cut. No dice. When I look here at the photos of the Beta AR jackets, it's pretty obvious their shape is straight hips. I don't believe the sizing chart -- the photos of the jacket reflect what I saw in the store - no room for hips. My own AR jacket fit just fine last month and with room at the hips.So clearly the proportions have changed at Arcteryx. It's really disappointing to see another clothing manufacturer go the way of the no-hip 'ideal' shape for women... and more disappointing that I can no longer be an Arcteryx customer (and now have to find another brand and buy another jacket because my Arcteryx one fell apart). Lifetime guarantee great, I appreciate Arcteryx honoring it, but it just doesn't work in my case. Go back to real fits for real women!
