Question 1

Hi. Is it possible to tighten the hem of the pants to prevent snow coming in when using the pants with boots or cross country boots?

Beth, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Kristian, thanks for your question! The hem on the Rush Bib Pant isn't adjustable, so it can't be tightened around boots. However, it does feature an internal powder cuff designed to help seal around your boots and help keep snow out when you're moving through deep conditions. Built for freeride and backcountry adventures, the Rush Bib combines its powder cuffs and bib design to provide excellent protection from snow during long days in the mountains. If you're looking for advice for a specific activity or boot setup, our Guest Services team would be happy to help through our Contact Us page. Wishing you many great days in the mountains ahead!

Question 2

Is there a built in gaiter to prevent snow coming into the boot under the shell?

Luna · Accepted Answer

Hi Helen, thank you for your question and for checking out the Rush Bib Pant. Yes, it features a built-in powder cuff to help prevent snow from entering through the pant leg and into the boot. We hope this helps!

Question 3

Is there a clip inside the pant pocket for a transceiver to clip into?

Helio, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Jenny, thank you for your question! The Rush Bib Pant has multiple key loops for securing small items. There’s one in the top right pocket and one in each thigh pocket. However, these are simple key loops and do not feature clips or dedicated attachment points.

Question 4

It looks like there is no drop seat option with these bibs is that correct? I don’t understand why there would be bibs without a drop seat for bathroom breaks, so inconvenient. But it appears that is the case here.

Sophie · Accepted Answer

Hi Kate, thanks for reaching out. You're correct, these bibs do not include a drop seat. We understand how that can feel inconvenient, especially during long days on the mountain. That said, they’re designed with full-length side zippers that allow you to unzip from the sides for bathroom access without needing to remove the shoulder straps or take off the entire bib. If you're specifically looking for a drop seat feature, we recommend checking out the Sentinel Bib Pant, which includes one. Thank you again for your feedback. https://arcteryx.com/ca/en/shop/womens/sentinel-bib-pant-9106

Question 5

what material is the bib? Is it soft shell or the same goretex as the pants?

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Angel, thanks for reaching out. The bib on the Rush Bib Pant is made with Wee Burly™ Double Weave fabric, which provides stretch, breathability, and comfort. The pant portion is constructed with N80p 3L GORE-TEX with C-KNIT™ backer technology, offering waterproof and windproof protection with a soft feel and excellent breathability. We hope this helps!

Question 6

Has the Rush bib been revised at all? I've wanted to purchase for three seasons and can't commit with the terrible sizing and fit. I love a lightweight touring bib with a half waist cut like this, but I would need to know if this runs true to size yet?

River · Accepted Answer

Hello there, as of this season, there haven't been any revisions made to the Rush Bib's sizing or fit. It still has the lightweight, half-waist cut that makes it great for touring, but we understand that it can be challenging if the sizing hasn’t aligned with what you’re looking for. If you have any specific questions about measurements or fit, we would be happy to help.

Question 7

Hello! I’m trying to figure out what size to order. What would the equivalent of the men’s rush bib size small be to the women’s numerical sizing

Austin · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. We do not have a comparison for sizes between men's and women's items. We would recommend referring to the Sizing Chart & Fit Guide to find the right size for you.

Question 9

hi,
I bought these bibs about 5 years ago and the size on the tag is "S/P Reg" . I'm looking for the exact same size but it looks like the options have changed. Can you tell me what equivalent size that would be for the current rush options? thank you

Austin · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. Our sizing has evolved over time and the Rush Bib Pant is now offered in numerical sizing. Based on our numerical sizing chart, a 4-R would be the closest for sizing to your previous S/P Reg.
