A solid harness

Personally I’ve owned three of these harness starting at xl down to M and all were built to the same high standard Even tho this is not a padded harness the comfortability of it is more than acceptable there is no hotspots that I’ve noticed even when I was sat in it for 40mins The harness is also very adaptable to most types of climbing I’ve taken it on and the fact that it very light weight and thin has made it an asset that I can just keep in my bag without taking up to much space as I travel about for work The only two cons I have with it are more than likely just personal issue (not something I imagine most climbers would have an issue with) I lost weight and needed the medium waist harness but found that even tho my legs fit in the leg loops I’d prefer a bit more adjustability or size similar to the L size harness I also find the bag it comes in can be a-bit fiddly at times
Q: Pros:
A: Lightweight and comfortable
Q: Cons:
A: Leg loop adjustability

Yes, I recommend this product.

Best Harness I've Ever Worn

A friend who owned one of these harnesses convinced me to buy one of my own. It is hands down the most comfortable harness I've ever worn. Yes the price is a little steep compared to a lot of other harnesses out there but I seriously think it is worth it. The harness is very light but so comfortable I forget that it is there even after hours of continuous use. Plenty of room on the gear loops come in handy when I am leading trainings for the climbing gym that I help run. The buckles are super smooth and durable feeling. The only thing I would change would be allowing the legs to have a little more room to adjust, but I also think that from the time I got the harness around 2 years ago I have just put on a little weight as well.

A Versatile Harnesses

Harnesses are definitely not a one and done kind of thing, but a good one will serve you well if you’re wanting a harness that you can default to with indoor and outdoor climbing: top rope, lead, and I’m hoping to use this harness for alpine climbing as well. I don’t have any worries with this harness so far, and I have enough trust in it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Best you can get

This is my second purchase of this harness, in the new colour and chose a smaller size. Originally bought the large, which worked for my 34 waist but it was a snug as it could go. It’ll be my backup for heavier layers of clothing. The medium is perfect and has room + / - Super comfy for belays as well.

Yay! Finally A Joyful Colorway!

Well, when I go ahead and buy a new one of these in Serene Blue, it will be the 4th in my gear chest. I have the Tatsu, the LEAF Black, Red & Black and now Blue. Needless to say, I love, love, love this particular harness. It's light enough you forget you have it on; yet it's as tough as any other harness on the market. Plus, you can use it across virtually every climbing specialty. Let's hope when this colorway sells out quickly that ArcTeryx gets the message that people really DO care what they look like at the crag and above.

Comfortable and durable all around harness

I've had this harness for over a year and its withstood multiple Yosemite bigwalls, trad climbs and more. Every last detail about this harness from the waist belt, gear loops and belay loop are well constructed and have held up to the abuse Yosemite granite puts on gear. I can rack my gear with confidence on the four gear loops and know my gear will still be there after climbing through chimneys. The belay loop is made of thick nylon and has shown little signs of wear after multiple hauls, belays and rappels. The highlight of this harness for me has to be the waist belt design and construction. The width and position of the waist belt allow for comfort while climbing or just hanging in the harness without any added bulk.
Q: Pros:
A: Excellent design, construction
Q: Cons:
A: No option for nonadjustable legloop

Yes, I recommend this product.

All Day Comfort - Durability - Packability

I've climbed in countless different harnesses from just about every major climbing company and this is by far the best harness I've climbed in. It is comfortable for all day use whether you're single pitch cragging or hanging at belays high off the ground. I've also found it to be more durable than some of the previous harnesses I've worn in the past. Where other harnesses start to fray and show signs of wear after only a couple months of climbing outdoors, this has managed to hold up incredibly well after almost a year of climbing in Yosemite, Moab, Tahoe, etc... Finally - I'm not one to count grams or be too concerned with weight, but the weight and packability of this harness is defined impressive. All in all, this is an exceptional, top of the line harness that I would recommend to anyone.
Q: Pros:
A: Comfortable, Durable, Packable
Q: Cons:
A: Expensive

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great All Around Harness, Light and Comfortable

Picked this up earlier this summer and have over twenty days in it so far ranging from alpine peaks, multi-pitch trad routes and sport climbing. This is a really nice harness that manages comfort via a wide waist belt without the typical bulky padding found in other harnesses. Some reviews mention leg loop comfort issues but so far I haven't had any issues there including quite a few leaning and hanging belays. The gear loop design is great with ample space for a decent size trad rack. Useful hauling and personal gear strap in back and ice clipper loops add to the versatility. I've owned a lot of good, mediocre and downright bad harnesses over the years and this is definitely one of the best in terms of comfort and features vs weight and bulk. Arc'teryx definitely hit the sweet spot with this harness.
Q: Pros:
A: Light, comfy, great features

Yes, I recommend this product.

Bought the xs harness I am 5'8 130lbs very slender build. The harness adjusted to my waist and legs nicely. I took it to the gym to try out and tried a few small top rope falls and had the harness dig into my groin so bad it left bruises!
