Dekoi Jacket - Walk Gently

“Deer have long been essential to Coast Salish life and respected for their role in providing food, clothing, and connection to the land through winter seasonal harvesting practices,” says designer and Walk Gently founder Cole Sparrow-Crawford. The Dekoi Jacket takes its name from a variation of “decoy,” a reference to the jacket’s deer-fur-like GORE-TEX print. The high-vis orange patterning cut and sewn into the fabric blends Salish motifs with the visibility needed for land-based harvesting in winter conditions.

“This piece expands the Walk Gently design language through form, function, and meaning—blending Arc’teryx technical DNA with Coast Salish perspective.”
