I asked on the small bird hat product page, but will also ask here: Does this version allow the strap to neatly tuck in to the internal sleeve? Or is it a different design so the strap doesn't flail around like the previous design?

The current version of the Bird Word Cap still includes an internal sleeve that allows the adjustment strap to be tucked away for a cleaner look when not in use. The strap management feature has not been removed, so you can still secure the excess strap rather than having it hang loose. We hope this helps.

Hola, Juan, gracias por tu pregunta, y muy bien hecho por comprobarlo antes de lavarla La gorra Bird Word se puede lavar a máquina a baja temperatura, pero la visera tiene una estructura ligera y reforzada, y el giro en el interior de la lavadora puede hacer que se retuerza o pierda su forma con el tiempo. Para que el panel delantero se mantenga limpio y con buen aspecto, te recomendamos que solo lo limpies por fuera, sobre todo por la zona de encima de la visera, aunque en la etiqueta de cuidados ponga que se puede lavar a máquina a baja temperatura. Esta limpieza más suave ayuda a mantener la forma y la durabilidad de la gorra.

Hi Mike, thanks for reaching out. UPF ratings require sufficient coverage to be meaningful. Caps such as the Bird Word Cap do not provide the same level of coverage as bucket hats, so they are not rated. The Sinsolo Bucket Hat is currently the only headwear with a UPF rating (UPF 50+). Bonjour, merci pour votre question. La casquette Bird Word et le Small Bird Cap sont pratiquement identiques. Elles sont toutes les deux sans structure (à l’exception de la visière) et sont fabriquées de la même matière principale: armure toile quadriextensible (99 g/m²) avec apprêt déperlant durable DWR FC0, 100 % polyester. Elles ont la même forme, les mêmes dimensions et le même ajustement. La seule différence entre les deux réside dans le type de logo.

While the fabric itself has some stretch, the panel and front of the cap are the most structured elements, providing support and shape.
