Question 1

How does this fit and compare to the previous model i have been using the old ones for 7 years and they are more hole than glove but we're the exact perfect fit used them for everything and still refuse to throw them away

River, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello Justin, thanks for reaching out. The current Venta GTX Glove has a slightly larger fit compared to the older model you’ve been using, which is why your original pair may have felt just right for so long. To help you find the closest match, we recommend ordering the size you normally wear and one size down, then keeping the pair that fits best. We offer free returns within 30 days as long as the item is new with tags on, so you can try them at home with peace of mind.

Question 2

I am confused of which Gore-Tex material was manufactured in the gloves. The advertised in the website is GORE-TEX® ePE bladder (waterproof) but the product label describe as GORE-TEX windstopper (windproof). Did I miss something?

River, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello there, thank you for reaching out with your question. We understand how the different GORE-TEX labels can be confusing. The Venta GTX Glove is built with a GORE‑TEX ePE waterproof bladder, which is why the website lists it as waterproof. If the product tag you’re looking at mentions GORE‑TEX Windstopper / INFINIUM, that label actually corresponds to our Venta Glove, a different model designed to be windproof and highly breathable, but not waterproof. It sounds like you may be comparing the information from the Venta GTX Glove page with the physical tag from the standard Venta Glove. If you’d like, our team can help confirm exactly which model you have and walk you through the differences. Feel free to reach out anytime, we’re here to help. https://arcteryx.com/ca/en/help/contact

Question 4

Bis zu welcher Temperatur sind die Handschuhe geeignet?

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Question 5

Est-ce qu’il y a une sangle au poignée pour retirer et remettre les gants en toute sécurité ? Pour éviter de les perdre

Helio, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Question 6

Hello, I understand is not waterproof but water repellent. os like this. The GTX pE is amembrane? If any user has experience with this glove under rain conditions I would be grateful.

Helio, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thank you for your question. The Venta GTX Glove is designed for active use in cold, windy, and wet conditions, offering excellent weather protection. It features an internal GORE-TEX ePE bladder, which refers to a thin, sealed insert inside the glove that acts as a waterproof and breathable barrier. This prevents water from passing through while allowing moisture vapor from sweat to escape, keeping your hands dry and comfortable. The GORE-TEX ePE membrane in the gloves provides a strong waterproof and windproof layer, so the gloves will perform well in rain or snow. If you’ve worn the Venta GTX Glove in rainy conditions, please share your experience below!

Question 7

Could this be good for winter? I just see leather and think its durable enough for winter.

Luna · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thank you for your question! The Venta GTX Glove was designed for active days in the mountains. It features a warm fleece liner for comfort and warmth, plus a GORE-TEX ePE bladder that offers breathable protection against wind, rain, and snow. The goat leather on the palm and fingers adds durability and grip. If you’re looking for a glove that combines insulated warmth with waterproof and windproof protection, this is a great choice. We hope this helps!

Question 8

Are these gloves touchscreen-compatible, and what detergent can they be washed with?

Sophie · Accepted Answer

Hi Ludwig, thanks for your question! The Venta GTX Glove doesn’t support touchscreen use, but the non-GORE-TEX version, the Venta Glove, does. If you’re looking for other touchscreen-compatible options, the Gothic Glove and Rho Glove are also great choices. For washing, we recommend hand cleaning with a small amount of mild liquid detergent that’s free from fabric softeners, fragrances, whiteners, or colorants, as these additives can clog the waterproof membrane and affect performance. Avoid powder detergents and bleach. A reliable option is Nu Technical Detergent, which is specially formulated for GORE-TEX and other technical outdoor gear. We hope this information helps! https://arcteryx.com/de/en/shop/venta-glove https://arcteryx.com/de/en/shop/nu-technical-detergent

Question 9

How does the Venta GTX glove differ from the Venta AR glove (05/23)?

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. The Venta GTX Glove features updated materials, including GORE-TEX ePE, and is now treated with a C0 Durable Water Repellent (DWR), making it free from intentionally added PFAS. The sizing has also been updated, so we recommend referring to our sizing chart to help find the best fit. We hope this helps!

Question 10
