BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!

Okay so I've had my eye on the Bora pack for years, but of course it wasn't available last season. I'm SO stoked at the update and it is absolutely amazing! First, I love the front pocket - I can literally get my entire tent in that. Second, the upper compartments in the top are fantastic, never worry about losing keys again! The sliding hip pads are interesting and I'm not sure how I feel about them yet, but certainly not bad! I need to spend more time with it, but I see the utility for sure. The adjustments you can make with the shoulder and hip pads is awesome. And SO LIGHT. The side pockets also make me so happy. I love love love it.

I wanted to like this backpack

Contrary to the description in the Bora Backpack Manual, this pack does not have a hydration sleeve but only a clip to attach a bladder to the bag. This leaves the contents of the pack in direct contact with the bladder, thus possibly damaging the bladder or having a flood in the pack. Additionally, the pockets on the waistband are not zippered and small enough that they would likely not be of much use.

Amazing Bag!!

I had bought this bag a month ago to replace my Deuter 60L bag that I had used to backpack through Colorado. At first I thought the weight overall was outrageous but once I added weight inside and hit the trail, it felt absolutely amazing and every oz of this bag was well worth it. The Bora bag is so customizable and especially for someone who is short (5’1 ft) it’s hard to find a bag that fit my build without making comfort sacrifices. I’m excited to start my backpacking adventures with this pack.
