Great pants for Spring ski touring.

I use these as an over-trouser for Spring ski touring. They work well and the full length zip means I can get them on and off easily over ski boots. Very light and well made

Easy to wear and carry

This product is perfect in many ways with alot of openings for taking on and off againg evening out in the elements the only thing i miss on this article is a belt to make it sit Even better. It keeps the elements out. Just add the belt og better thightening soulutions around the waist and one more star will be added.

Excellent shell for SAR work in wet alpine weather

I use the guide pants primarily in high alpine terrain all year, especially when it rains and in snow at 14,000ft/4300m. I have worn these in constant rain and blizzards and have remained completely dry. They are waterproof, very breathable (more so with open side zippers), they are extremely lightweight shell pants while maintaining excellent durability and pack down into a small bag that sits in the bottom of my pack. This shell has scrambled through scrub oak and pine trees as well as slid down gigantic talus and rock formations above treeline. I have yet to damage these pants in the last 3 years of 4-season use on a search and rescue team. I am 6'0"/183cm, 185lb, and the large fits me perfectly. The leg-length side zippers allow me to put these pants on over my Acrux AR boots and easily button them and tuck them under my fully loaded harness. I can cinch the bottom cuff of each leg and clip them to my boot laces. Unfortunately, there are no boot laces on the Acrux AR, so I have to remember to pull the cord tight and keep an eye on the cuffs in postholes.

Not for the slightest amount of rain!

Great pants if it doesn’t rain. There’s nothing to protect the zipper on the inside. 3rd day of use, 1 hour into a rain storm and I’m wet. I remember working in the outdoors 10 years and staying dry! What a better time!

I’m so happy with these pants! They are so light you can forget you’re wearing them and they roll up so small there is no reason not to have them in your pack just in case.
Too early to tell for durability, as I just got them and have only done a few easy hikes so far but they feel up to the high expectations I have of Arc’teryx gear.
I really like the simple design of the integrated gaiter. The only reason to use a dedicated gaiter with these pants is if you need to protect them from crampons.
Definitely recommend these for a light shell!

Good lightweight gore tex pants

These pants worked really well for the week I used them. Unfortunately, I poked a hole quite easily on the inside cuff near the ankles. Can be an easy repair with goretex tape.

Ce pantalon est si léger qu’il se range très facilement dans un sac. L’étoffe en GORE-TEX PRO N70d Ultra Résistant est durable et résiste à l’usure, faisant de ce pantalon le vêtement idéal pour une protection supplémentaire en cas d’urgence. D'une conception simple, il présente des glissières WaterTight™ latérales sur les 3/4 de sa longueur, ce qui vous permet d’enfiler et de retirer ce pantalon avec aisance, même en portant des bottes.
