Almost perfect

Solid grid fleece offering. Fits pretty similarly to the old Delta MX but I believe the sleeves may be slightly shorter. I got this as a gift after the purchaser confirmed to me that the initial product feature list included hand pockets but was quite disappointed to discover that this wasn't the case. I still like the fleece but it does limit the versatility in my opinion and was a bit puzzling of a design choice considering the women's version does have hand pockets. C'est la vie.

Major regression from previous Delta LT Jacket

The Delta LT (not this one) jacket is my favorite mid layer, period. I have over 10 of them, with a few unopened so that I never run out of them as older ones get worn out or damaged (though so far they're all good as new, including ones I've worn for extended hiking trips abroad). I got this "revised" Delta Jacket when it was on sale, to give it a whirl.
It's so much worse. The weird design element being moved from the subtle upper left sleeve to the chest is wholly unwelcome, but it's hardly the only problem. The material is not as good, so while the inside facing layer still has those soft squares, the outside is smoother but just doesn't feel good in comparison to the older LT. The pockets are inexplicably GONE, which is the inexcusable deal breaker for me. The longer sleeves with thumbholes are also just not needed. It's like this item is trying to have a completely different set of functionality (meaning lower everyday practicality without a top layer), and I don't appreciate it. Will buy more Delta LT for as long as it's around, but I'll look at other upmarket brands for mid layers if this "revised" Delta is ultimately all we get.

Karl as a top 500 contributor you should be aware that the product description says this is the replacement for the Delta LT not the MX as you state, therefore I expected it to have pockets like the delta lt.

Very thin and not warm

Bought this jacket on sale and ended up returning it. Was extremely thin. It's stylish but can't be worn as an outer layer at all if there is any wind whatsoever. For the price point I expected more. Lack of hand pockets is a bummer as well. Great for an indoor type jacket or layering I guess (but I would want something a little thicker).

Really liked the jacket overall. Much lighter than I had anticipated. Almost like a shirt. The problem is that it's too long. Definitely made for taller people unfortunately.

Terrific jacket for the price! Very warm and comfortable. I really enjoy the stretch the fabric has. I don't really need the water-resistance, but it is nice. I assume it would be great for someone in a wetter winter climate.

Have a 10 year old delta Lt which I really love and thought I would go for this update. have been living in the jacket for the past month. I really like how thin and breathable it is. this makes the jacket highly versatile since I am usually running rather hot. I have used it in the office, at home, running and hiking. Great piece.

Great light and warm layering fleece

This is an excellent layering piece with a grid fleece that retains warmth well. It is useful in cold winters as a mid layer under a down jacket (or one of two mid layers). I would imagine it can be useful in the fall and spring seasons also, as it is very thin, which might be a con for some.
The fit is true to size but slightly on the longer side, it has long sleeves with thumb loops.
My only complaints are the lack of front hand pockets, but there is a small chest pocket. Also, it is fairly expensive, there are probably better options in terms of price to value.

Love the revised version of this jacket!

A few months back, I bought the Delta LT and it just didn't fit me as well and wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I absolutely love this new Delta version, which is a perfect midlayer as well as a standalone jacket. Good warmth, very comfortable and fits well. Huge fan!

Love it, but I wish it was a heavier jacket

Bought this a few weeks ago hoping to replace my 12 year old fleece jacket from a different brand. Overall, I love the jacket, but its really thin. Expected it to be a heavier material that could be used as an outer shell in the 40 degree Fahrenheit range. I still love it, but disappointed that it's not a suitable replacement for that beloved old jacket/pullover. I'm going to keep it regardless because the fit makes it perfect for layering with my Atom LT Jacket.
As for it. I'm 6.1 (73.5 in) 200 lbs. Jacket fits perfectly with room to spare. It's very fitted, so if you're self conscious about body image, you might want to elect for something with more flow.

Good looking jacket but it fits a somewhat big

I purchased this jacket because I was looking for something similar in feel to my beloved Fortrez hoody. I didn't necessarily need the hardface exterior, which is why I thought the Delta jacket might be a good fit.
Unfortunately, I sent it back because the fit of this jacket does not seem to be "Fitted" as the product details indicate. I'm an 5'7" 135 lbs and small has fit me well with other Arc'teryx pieces. This small felt closer to a medium, or perhaps it's a small in regular fit. Compared to my Fortrez, the torso fit about the same, but the shoulders seemed much wider and the sleeves much longer. It's not a huge difference, but it's enough that I suggest sizing down if you're between sizes.
The jacket itself is nice and would be a good lightweight mid-layer. The inside is gridded fleece and the outside is a smooth, though loose weave that's somewhat transparent. It looks prone to snagging so definitely be careful if you don't wear anything over it.

Hoodless delta MX, great slim for V-shape physic

First a correction need to be made under the "Features" section of this page: there are no hand pockets. It mentioned two hand pockets, there are none.
Just like the hooded version (delta MX) that was available last year, this is a slim-fitting fleece with room around the chest but slim around the waist. Articulated pretty well for overhead reach. The sleeves are long enough to use the thumb loop without tugging. The hem isn't too long and has a generously sized chest pocket.
There are a few minor differences to the delta MX:
- No drop hem, while the MX has a 2-3 cm drop hem.
- Fabric is a little thinner, which is a bummer for me.
- Thumb loops are hidden and horizontally vs the expose and vertically cut in the MX. If you want a hoodless version of the Delta MX because layering with too many hoods is a hassle, this is a great piece.
For reference, I am 175 cm with a 106 cm chest and 83 cm waist.
