Versatile next to skin layer

I've been looking for a piece like this - I acutally purchsed the 7" version and I love them. The don't ride up, wick moisture well, don't overheat, and work as a perfect next to skin layer. Current use: running, hiking, ski touring/XC ski. I ended up getting 3 pairs because I've found this superior to merino underwear and Arc's other underwear (doesn't ride up as much and breathes better). Size L; waist 32"; 175 lbs with thick thighs

Do not purchase. Very poor quality. Rides up and causes horrible chafing. On top of everything else, Arc'teryx refused to stand by this product. I reached out to Arc'teryx to try and resolve my issue but was told that they could not do anything about my complaint because this item is an undergarment. Very disappointing. Avoid at all costs!

Comfy Product

I've used these liners on a number of runs now and I'm a fan. They are comfortable, light and breathable. The construction is supportive and I've had no issues with chafing at seams or....other places. Can't speak to durability yet as I haven't had them for years, but I expect they will hold up just fine. Based on my experience I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

Waistband is too small. It pinches too much.

The fit is great and I also love the material but the waistband is too small. It pinches too much. That was better on the old version of the boxer. I also don't like that I have a waistband on the legs. I don't know if I have too strong thighs (I don't think so) so the thighband pinches in my thigh. That was also nicer on the old boxer.

Good product - with a quirk

I bought this and it's a good product that goes underneath my running shorts or used as a compression short. My only 'beef' is the weird placement of the label which is normally on the back; this has it on the side. This is a strange location and keeps throwing me off when I put it on, TBHWY. Other than that, I recommend this product. I do wish it was a little cheaper but to be expected with this brand.

This is above 5 stars! Amazing quality, breathable, just super perfect, next to skin! Difficult to put in words how fits so well, super soft, but strong enough to keep everything in the right place. Outstanding ! The S is right for me, as I've got always S on all Arcteryx. the advance of the 5" is that is more versatile. I'm going to buy another one before goes sold out!

Wore these for the first time under the Norvan 5" shorts. Very happy with the feel and fit on a 2hr run. First time running using a compression liner, and was surprised how comfortable they felt
