Service non digne

Le produit est conforme aux caractéristiques énoncées. Il est parfait pour faire du ski de randonnée. Toutefois, après 4 utilisations le zipper du bas a lâché... Je me suis rendu deux fois en magasin où ils ont finalement dit que je devais communiquer avec le site de retour. Ils m'ont finalement envoyer un kit de réparation qui ne fonctionne pas pour mon problème. Pour finalement me demander de renvoyer mon manteau par la poste au centre des BC. Vraiment décevant comme service, j'adore la qualité des vêtements habituellement mais cette fois ci le service est vraiment exécrable.

Perfect Jacket

It’s truly all about the layers, that said, the atom hoody is an excellent light jacket, however I find the Atom heavyweight hoody to be perhaps the best overall jacket I have ever owned and that’s saying a lot, I’m surprised it’s currently missing from the lineup. I’m 63 years old, and jackets for me are like purses to my wife, we have both had too many to count. From 39 degrees Fahrenheit, to about 15 degrees the atom heavyweight is perfect. It can be too warm at 40 or above, and around 15 degrees I use my parka and put the heavyweight under that at about 10 degrees. In Anchorage, Alaska the Atom heavyweight hoodie is my daily wear for walking the dog and hiking, or just running errands 80% of the winter. I recently purchased my atom heavyweight hoody and I also have a regular atom, so I hope to be set for several years, however, I sure hope the atom heavyweight hoody returns to the Arcteryx lineup otherwise some of you are truly missing out.

Arcteryx “revised” me out of anything that fits!

You guys have “revised” me out of anything that fits! Your mediums used to fit me great. Now everything M revised is too loose and baggy and long. And your Smalls are too small. Too bad, you’ll be losing a long time Alaskan Arcteryx customer. You seem to make mediums based on a 6 plus foot model? You’ve abandoned the 5’8” slender male. 5’8” is actually considered a medium size male, so not sure what you’re thinking here.

My new jacket is losing insulation!!

I got an Atom hoodie at the end of the year 2024. I like it in so many ways, but I’ve noticed a big problem. After only 2 weeks of wear my insulation is pulling through the stitch lines. I read another review that has the same issue, which suggested the team forgot to put a layer of scrim to prevent migration. I don’t know if that’s right, but I know that a jacket of this price shouldn’t be having this problem. My $69 REI Jacket which is somewhat similar in terms of warmth and insulation and weight (although, of course, not quite as nice) absolutely does not have this problem after years of use. This is disappointing considering the price and quality expectations from Arc'teryx.

Not a fan of the update

The update is much bulkier than the previous version - which I don’t like. It’s advertised as being weather resistant now but in doing so it’s almost too big to be a midlayer. It’s much more burly, and almost feels like a bomber jacket. I wish I could get my hands on the previous version. Bummer.

Beware hem curling and no warranty support

My last two Atom Hoodies have been defective. The back hem curls upward because the face fabric is cut shorter than the liner fabric. This completely ruins the cut and silhouette of this jacket. Customer service told me that this is normal wear and tear, even though there is no curling or pulling on any other face fabric panel on the jacket. I’ve owned six Atoms over 15 years and many other products that I’ve used extremely hard. I’ve warrantied one item in those years and had a good experience. Arc’teryx used to stand behind their products and offer solutions. Quality and customer service is not what it was.

Not the same Atom...

Overall fit is great as expected but you can tell the Atom is not the same as the old LT. Not only are the materials cheaper (side panel is no longer Polartec and the shell poly vs nylon) but after 2 weeks of wear my insulation is pulling through the stitch lines.. clearly the team forgot to put a layer of scrim to prevent migration. This is disappointing considering the price and quality expectations from Arc'teryx... I never leave reviews and have been a big supporter of the brand for a long time...but this jacket is a lifestyle piece, not a performance.

Great Replacement

I had an Atom non-hood for about 6 years and needed a replacement. My last Atom lasted multiple deployments, hikes, rains, and snows, so when i blew out the back i grabbed this one. Great improvements have been made, notably the [imo] tougher material used in the wrist and zipper areas. The zippers have a solid tab and while it may hang differently than the previous ones, it rotates comfortably and i’m sure if I needed replacements it would be more environmentally friendly and sensible to ship than corded strands I could replicate myself (sustainably - why I like Arc’teryx). Great jacket and would highly recommend!

Can’t beat this classic!

This is my mid layer for days above 30F. I wear this under my beta ar shell. Lastly I use a rho heavy thermal for base. I never overheat. Unbelievably simple and durable. Light and easy to pack. Looks good as a stand alone. Formal wear check! Works for any occasion. Repels water decently well also! This is my workhorse layer. Basically don’t leave the house without it! Only time I do is to wear the ATOM ar hoodie on days where the temp is much colder!

Cozy, comfortable, super light weight and bright.

I bought it for hiking, rock climbing, snow shoeing and travel purpose.I used it for more than six months, still I enjoy wearing it. Very nice thing about this material is feels cozy and comfortable all the time. Highly breathable, good fit feeling and style. Material is quite soft but not the most durable. Be mindful while you are in the bushes or in the forest or in tree line. It dries out faster than the old one I had. Zippers are well balanced with the weight ratio. Easy to use the zippers. I can stuff this jacket into any space available in my back pack or daily commute bag easily.

Great jacket, durability could use some work

Hiking, fly fishing, casual. This jacket is an awesome fit and feel and layers very well. My only concern/complaint is the durability of the product is less than ideal. The fleece patches on the side have already started pilling after two weeks of wear. That being said, the jacket is a perfect mid layer piece for my adventures and looks and feels great.

Merci 1000x Arc'teryx d'avoir revu la coupe !!! Vous avez rendu une veste parfaite encore plus parfaite. Je possède deja cette veste depuis plusieurs années et j'ai essayer le model revu. Waowww juste un peux plus long , légèrement plus ample. Il est maintenant encore plus parfait ! Avec mes 6,2. 255lbs (sans ventre) je peux maintenant le porter aussi bien avec un tshirt qu'avec mon hoodie préfère. Toujours présent sous mon shell rush pour les sortie en ski. Ou juste la veste pratiquement tous les jours ! Maintenant toute la famille a changé. Je saute l'évaluation du reste car est et restera le numéro 1 dans sa catégorie et avec raison!

Too big

too big compared from the origina/old atom hoody. The XS is just like Small in new sizing. Hope they change it to the old sizing.

Lovely jacket

Nice jacket and good to get it in the sale. Decent mid layer went with size large and it fits tts. Not as slim cut as I thought it would be to my delight. Also ordered an XL but was too big so returned. I’m usually a size large in everything.

First Arc’teryx Piece.

First piece from Arc’teryx and two weeks it I can say the Atom Hoody is exactly what I wanted. I will be using it mostly for hiking in Midwest Winter with a base layer. I heat up quickly so the light insulation is perfected.
