Purchased these bibs as an alternative pair of pants to the Ski Guide Pants, which can handle all weather and body positions a bit easier. Originally had the Ski Guide pants (which are also great pants!) but these pants add an additional measure of movement and durability. I found the pant version to be restricting in the crotch area and quad region when touring/kick turning/side stepping, whereas these bibs provide ample space without being too baggy. Pros: The bib pants feel like they have a thicker and more durable outer material, the 2 leg pockets are massive and easily fit radios, notepads, snacks, and gloves in them. The upper chest pockets can fit a transceiver and additional items if needed. The knees on the bib pants come with removable knee pads which is a great addition. One side zip starts at the top and goes to the knee whereas the other zip only goes from hip to knee which makes it easier to get in and out, and open side zips if you start to warm up. Reinforced boot cuffs and sinch. Space within the top portion of the bib to tuck in base- and mid-layers into the bib (if you prefer this way of layering) to make it easier to get the bibs on and off. Cons: as many bibs experience this - it's tricky to get out to pee quickly, can be a bit on the longer side (but manageable).
