Ripped on the first wear

I would not recommend these as a base layer for snow sports. Originally was hoping to use these for yoga, walks, and for snowboarding. On the first wear, a giant hole ripped in the rear of the pants. I have had plenty of other brand leggings last many years. This is definitely not a premium product, I would avoid this one.

Wore out super quickly, wouldn't recommend

Purchased for skiing and alpine climbs. They fit true to size and were effectively warm and comfortable. However, they began to wear out and ripped after fewer than two seasons in them, which totaled all of about 12 uses. I submitted a claim but was told this is expected "wear and tear" and is not covered by the warranty. Meanwhile, I've had similar layers of the same material from other outfitters for 5+ years with no concerns. Overall, extremely disappointing experience compared to the other Arc'Teryx gear I've had and the customer service and quality guarantee they're supposed to be known for. Not worth the price by a long shot.
No, I do not recommend this product.

These are the best base layer bottoms I've purchased in a long time! Definitely getting a second pair in the near future. They feel comfy like lulu and keep you warm, but not TOO warm.

Runs a bit small but i'll use them for running so it's perfect. I bought medium - jeans size 29 a mom's belly - weight 155 pounds of muscle 🤭 and stays up perfect ! The interior is a little fleece - feels comfy

Tough and Cozy.

Love these. Cozy and stretchy. I’ve switched to buying Men’s tho, for longer inseam. Wear them to stay warm around the house and for winter running, snowshoeing, and XC skiing.

Poor quality seems

I bought my Rho bottoms to wear as a base layer on some easy fall hiking. I am so disappointed in the quality of these pants, I expect much more from arcteryx.
Pros: they are extremely comfortable and do provide the warmth I was looking for.
Cons: multiple seems started to fray and come off the pants within two washes/four wears. These bottoms will not last.

Amazing fit!

I got these last winter and I Love how they are thick and hold me in... but I legit put my finger through the pant leg. Im so sad because they are my favorite. The girls love this color combo too. Im not sure what to think about the tearing of the pants but before then I felt like they kept me super warm, and dry while running in Chicagos cold winters. These are so good that when you open the pocket you can feel the actual temps outside of the pants so you want to hurry up and zip them back up. I will replace these but I will also try not to be so aggressive when putting then on and off. If they didn't rip I would have given these 5 stars!

The odour-resistant Torrent™ microfleece fabric is made with wicking yarns and has an exceptionally soft brushed interior. Elastane fibres add stretch and work with the articulated patterning and gusseted crotch for freedom of movement.
