Nice but could be better

Nice vest, just such a pity about the zipper. Fits fine again, the only pain is the zipper that does not lock in place. Again, this is not only an issue on this garment, i have the Atom LT same story there

Great for indoor use.

Spoiler; I’m a vest-dude. Bought mainly for use in the office over a button down. Level of insulation and warmth seems ideal for inside use so far. I also like the design which is simplistic and only the bird on left chest. The "ARC’TERYX" writing on the back of the collar could be more subtle. The fit is on the loose side, size medium (180cm/75kg). Use occasionally on shorter hikes in my nearby trails also. I love using a vest on a shorts and T-shirt combo during summer.

Slightly less than perfect but still great 🤞

The Atom Vest is a true essential for me, and this will be my fourth one. It’s never to hot, is breathable during activity, and is versatile for both trail and town. I was also pleased with the new Forage color, but do wish black sapphire would return. First impressions of fit and finish are good. The new fabric feels a little thinner, and even the insulation feels a little thin; almost like nothing there in some spots, but I still have confidence this revision will still perform well. My one biggest complaint is the loss of the interior chest pocket.
