The best jacket I‘ve ever got so far!

I bought this jacket a couple weeks ago, it’s the perfect jacket for fall weather so far. I wear it for biking, hiking, and patrol training. The jacket is able to keep me warm yet very breathable, I don’t feel too sweaty after biking. The material is very comfortable and well designed. The top of the zip touches my chin, and I have sensitive skins, but my chin never felt itchy nor turned red because the zip is covered with soft fabric. The fit is perfect and very flexible, I’m not sure what’s the exact words to explain but the jacket moves with me even while I do high intensity sports! The only thing that bothers me a teeny tiny bit is that since the jacket is able to keep up with movements, the inner layer of the sleeves move down while I put the jacket on. I need to hold on to the inner layer every time if I’m wearing long sleeves base layer. Anyways, overall it is an amazing jacket, I really love it! Recommended for all patrollers, mountaineers and mountain rescuers!

finally fits true to size

If you are a size small in other out door brands you will be in this jacket. It is cut for a real athletic body and is a positive change. It is cut to work with muscular hips so you don't need to size up. Love this item, its breathable, comfortable, I can layer under it. It came in very orange, not like the picture showed but I am still very happy with it.

Practitioner AR - Jacket and layering with great f

I bought this a while ago and it fits amazingly. I think it's similar to the Proton Hoody, but the fit is much better for me. Partly because I like the symmetry of having the front/chest pocket on both sides, but also has a more fit & flare fit, which looks great. The sleeve at the wrist is fitted, which keep my arms warm when it's windy. I've worn this as a jacket on its own a lot and it holds up under very light rain. Otherwise, it's been great for layering under a shell for added warmth.

Useful jacket

I got this about a month ago and I use it for many sports. I find it warmer for running and nordic skiing than most of my 'running specific' jackets, but it is really nice to have when the temperature drops. I ran in it yesterday with a merino wool underlayer in -22C and was almost too warm, but it is breathable so I do not find the jacket gets sweaty. I've worn it nordic skiing in similar temps and it keeps me toasty. It sheds light precip and keeps the wind out. I like the high collar for the cold, which is soft and doesn't scratch my face. It has a different interior fabric than the Atom jackets, which I wasn't a fan of at first, but I've come to enjoy it because I think it keeps the jacket breathing and not getting sweaty. I also find it dries quickly, so I can take it from activity to activity with only a few hours of dry time between.
I got a size small, I am 130lbs and 5'6", and there is enough room to layer a long sleeve and a thick hoodie underneath comfortably.

Great jacket...warm for its weight. I like the length too...not too short in the waist so lower back stays warm. It is so comfortable to wear, you nearly forget you have it on! Great for all round aerobic outdoor use in cooler temps and layers well with other arcteryx vests such as the atom or the atom SL. The red colour is a really nice shade too...

This jacket fits perfectly, seems to be a true wome's medium. I have a long body and the length in the torso is good. Quite a bit longer than the fit of the Atom and it generally stays tucked in a harness
The hood is great and the collar comes up quite hight and provides great protection. It’s a bit tight over a helmet but without a helmet it’s perfect
Four pockets are handy. Chest pockets are great for cell phone storage or transceiver
I use this jacket in all seasons. On cold weather ski touring days it’s perfect for breaking trail and breathes very well and is quick drying even for heavy sweaters. Its my favourite ski touring layer. It even sheds light precipitation. Despite it being so breathable it is surprisingly good in the wind as well
In summer months it is great for cooler days or in the alpine over a T shirt layer.
