Almost, but not quite…

I really want to like these pants, but there’s a few things that really frustrate me about them. I wear them climbing, specifically in the alpine.
I appreciate that they’re a bit more high waisted than the typical Arc’teryx pant, and I really like how the thighs fit a bit looser (fore example, the gamma SL in the same size make me feel like I’m squeezing into a sausage casing…it’s not good).
My biggest qualm with these pants is the absolutely ridiculous snap button for the fly. It’s not a secure snap and constantly pops open when I’m making high steps or bending. Arc’teryx designers, PLEASE please please please put something to secure the fly to prevent this (either a proper button or a hook and eye closure). There’s no reason that an active pant should fail like this, especially when worn under a harness. Honestly, it drives me mental.
Otherwise, a solid pant considering no one else actually makes a reasonable women’s pant for climbing.
Just a couple suggestions:
1: It would be great if you could offer a high waisted option for those of us with high hips.
2: Can you please include the rise of your pants in your size guide? It would be incredibly helpful.

The best outdoor pants

Really wanted to not love these pants due to the price BUT they are truly the best. The fit is immaculate for those with higher hip:waist ratios and the length is absolutely perfect. The quality is superb; I can’t find a single fault with them. For reference, my height is 5’2”, waist 30”, hips 44” and the size 12 Regular is perfect.

Very good, with room to improve

Really like the fit and the material, I wear them for
climbing and around town. I like the white pair more than the dark because the dark easily shows lint, hair, and sunscreen marks. These aren’t the most breathable in the seat and trap heat so not the best choice for a hot summer day. Otherwise really cute.

Solid pant, tight in thigh

I've only taken them on one longer hike, but I found them lightweight, comfortable and stretchy. All pockets large enough to fit a phone (thank god), though you'll want to use the thigh pocket on a steep uphill. The material seems surprisingly durable for its thin-ness - lets see how they last on my upcoming 7-day hike in the Alps. I wouldn't say it is the most breathable in hot/humid weather, but a solid pant.
I have a small waist + more muscular thighs, so finding women's hiking pants that aren't tight in the thigh is a challenge. (Why would I want tight hiking pants? A mystery). I couldn't find a decent pair, so decided to go with these even though I had to size up to a 4 (my waist is a 2 in arcteryx sizing). However the waist cinches down in a way that is quite smooth - so I think it will be fine under a hiking backpack belt. So if you're a fit girlie with the same problem, you might try these, until hopefully one day someone makes a pant for us.
For sizing help: I'm 163cm, 54kg, lean - had to size up to 4 to have room in the thigh. I'm somewhere between regular length and short, but I have long legs for my height - I went with short.

Loved last season's gamma pants. Not sure if I received a defected one -- I don't love this year's model as much since this version runs smaller around the waist and 1.25" shorter inseam than the previous version.

The snap on the fly is terrible. It keeps coming undone and I am skinny. Upgrade the snap or figure something else out please.

Wider leg, very comfy!

Great pant! This is my first pair of gamma pants in a new years, and I really like this year's design. I will note that they are wider in the thigh/calf than I was expecting, which I like, AND is also aligned with the current baggy-leg women's pant trend. I feel like the older ones were more slim cut, so if that was what you liked the most, I'd maybe consider another pant.

I’ve been wearing my new pants every day I go hiking and I love them in sun, wind, rain and steep terrain. Perfect fit, love the leg pocket (but would prefer two!) Would love if the tall were 2” not 3” longer than the regular size.
