Für solch einen Preis erwartet man sich eigentlich eine gute Qualität aber man bekommt genau das Gegenteil. Habe die Mütze gerade mal einen Abend getragen und sie löst sich bereits auf. An vielen stellen stehen Fäden weg und sie filzt auch bereits schon und das nach einmaliger verwendung

Love the design & fit of the beanie but unfortunately the material quality is terrible for $55. I've worn mine about 5 - 6 times and the amount of loose fabric strains & piling is crazy. I have beanies I've worn for 2 years in better condition than this one which i've only had a few weeks. If Arc'teryx revised this one with a better build I would be open to buying it, until then will not be buying or recommending to anyone.

It's fine for the first month or two. The fabric pills quickly. Doesn't stand up to a fabric shaver. Quality doesn't match its price. Save your money.

Decent product, Poor Material Quality.

When I purchased this item, I was originally quite happy, the employees at the store I bought this product from even went out of their way to grab another new toque from the back of the store. The toque is beautiful, and the colourways are all incredible. However, I cannot get over the overwhelming amount of piling and loose threads. For seventy Canadian dollars, this quality is inferior and rarely what I would expect from a brand like Arc’teryx. Overall, the quality is quite average. I understand that the toque is made of recycled polyester, but I would much rather see a toque made out of 100% cotton over a reusable, sustainable material, which results in intense pilling and overall bad knit quality. 100% polyester is asking for quality that will have poor longevity and is not sustainable in the long term as it is mostly plastics.

Bought 3 last year. Has a great look/fit but unfortunately pills easily and loses shape. Begins to look old rather quick. For the price point on a beanie I would expect better quality.

J’utilise principalement ce bonnet pour Des randonnées durant l’automne et l’hiver. Et quelques fois je l’utilise pour me tenir en Milieu urbain. Il me tire extrêmement chaud à la tête, j’en suis très satisfait . En plus de cela, le design est très beau !

I used this toque all last winter. As many others have mentioned, the quality of the fabric is very bad. Threads come loose constantly. Otherwise it is functional and the sizing is good for me (not too tight and has not stretched over time). I like the design a lot.

The Arc’teryx Grotto Toque is a fantastic choice for those with larger heads, providing a comfortable and non-restrictive fit that stands out from other beanies I’ve tried. Unlike many beanies that can feel too tight, the Grotto Toque strikes the right balance, ensuring a snug yet comfortable fit.
One of the standout features of this beanie is its ability to keep my head warm without causing excessive sweating, unlike wool beanies. The material is effective at trapping heat while maintaining breathability, making it ideal for various cold weather activities.
Although some loose threads were mentioned in other reviews, I found this to be a minor issue compared to the overall performance of the beanie. It didn’t affect its functionality or durability significantly.
Overall, I’m very happy with the Arc’teryx Grotto Toque. It’s a great fit for larger heads, keeps my head comfortably warm without overheating, and offers a level of comfort and functionality that makes it a top choice for winter wear.

C’est la pire qualité. J’ai acheté La Tuque et elle avait des mailles dedans. Je l’ai retournée pour en acheter une autre et après deux utilisations elle avait déjà plein de mailles dedans. J’ai écrit au service à la clientèle et ils m’ont dit que c’était de l’usure normal. La qualité du produit est épouvantable!

Unfortunately most reviews are right - bad quality

Bought this about one month ago. Love the arctic silk colorway. At first loved the hat and hoped some of these reviews would not apply, however after one month of wear (realistically have worn this hat no more than a handful of days) the threads are loose and the quality is poor.

Top quality for ski touring

I bought this and it was delivered two days later (in Zurich). Used it right away to go ski touring and it is the best quality I've ever seen for a beanie. Recommend 100%.
