Big puffy vest vibes

Been on the hunt for a down vest especially one with reasonably large baffles for a while. The purple colourway was what ultimately convinced me. Super versatile layer for around town or as my warm layer in my pack for lunch stops during ski tours on the islands. I wear a Large at 181cm tall, 75kg and it gives me the space to have a couple layers under if necessary.

Looks nice but too small

I have many Arc’teryx jackets and shell jackets but this is the first time I’ve purchased my usual size and even based on their updated size chart did not fit. It was way too tight. I wear a large in all my Arc’teryx gear and it seems that new sizing fit more like a medium. I’m 5’11” 185lbs for reference.

ArcTeryx Cerium Vest has it all

This is, quite simply, the best vest you can buy, hands down. I've worn outdoor gear vests all my life, whether at my desk or out on a trail. I've never worn one better than the ArcTeryx' cerium vest. Yes, it's expensive, but if you go for it, you'll see how value-packed it is.

My favorite piece of cold weather gear.

The Cerium Vest is my go-to piece for cold weather. I have had one vest for 4 years and just purchased another so that I have a new color. The first one is still going strong which is a testimony to the durability of this vest since I wear it every day in cold and dry weather here in Michigan and traveling the US. Looks great and works to keep me warm worn over a fleece or flannel or under a shell. Uber-packable!
