Slick, beautiful and well fitted

I recently bought this to use it with my Mionn jacket as some sort of layered winter jacket for activities outdoors. I own multiple Veilance (and even more general Arcteryx) pieces and I must say that this Isogon is a real masterpiece. After reading o reviews to size down I took a Small (where I otherwise do Medium) and that was a good choice. The Isogon fits over the Mionn perfectly, and when I take off the Mionn the Isogon still suits me well over a shirt or a thin sweater.
The fabric is not as astonishing as some other Veilance pieces but it is very slick. Only one glance will tell that it is a high quality piece. The end of sleeve has this cut out and I would say it is the most agressive cut from other Veilance types, but it is exactly on the edge. Should not be more cut, but it is perfect this way.
I have bought it in black and wear it over a black Mionn and its now absolutely my favorite mix of jackets.

Just a bit short

Was looking for a city business casual offering closest to the gamma Mx I could find. Researched and absolutely loved the Isogon. Ordered and was hoping for a similar fit as it shares the same soft shell material. The shade color is beautiful, and clean lines logo free was a plus. When it arrived it’s super boxy and just too short. I’m a XL in everything ARC and ordered an XL in the isogon. Couldn’t imagine sizing down due to its already short fit. Unfortunately I’m returning it.
I’m athletic built and really hoped it would fit better, I was really impressed with the sleeves, and overall fit and finish. My wife also noticed the length was just too short. I could have lived with the boxy fit and adjusted the hem draw cords.
Unfortunately it just fell a bit short…. Literally

Great looking, great material, way too short

When you change sizes please also change the lenght. L used to fit me but now its too roomy. M fits me now but it is at least half an inch to short. It could be the perfect jacket.

Nice Softshell Jacket

Great alternative to the Gamma MX. I went TTS and still had some room to layer - was able to fit a Mionn IS in the same size as well. Personally, I'm not a fan of the extended coverage on the sleeves. The one thing that annoyed me was the zipper. They're very loose and you can unzip the entire jacket with one hand at the slightest pressure. This could be useful in active situations when you want to dump heat quickly with one hand, so it all depend on your usage.

Great design, lots of storage, better than a full blown hard-shell most of the time. Looks sleek, very distinctive and all in a robust package. Top tier Veilance imo. Cut a bit roomier to allow for light layering. The way the sleeves are constructed is incredible. Panelling, taped seams and adjustable storm hood seal the deal.

I wanted a hi-vis coat for moving around town and not getting run over. I nearly kept this coat but found the XS fit more like a small / medium, also this coat does not have any reflective material on board. for some reason it came in a suit bag?
