I bought a pair of these shorts in the green colour in the size I already have in the previous version of these shorts (size 8). They feel super tight going on but they do not move - no need to adjust when you're out and about on the trail which I love. The high rise is perfect too, and the waistband is thick and comfortable. The difference with this version vs the pair I already own is the amount of pockets in the waistband - you could fit all kinds of stuff in there! I only use the side pocket for my phone and even with that weight the shorts don't move at all. My only qualm about the green colour is that sweat showed through the fabric. You could fix that by buying the black colour but ultimately it's not going to stop me for wearing them during sweaty pursuits since sweating is natural, people!
