Loose fit, lower quality, overpriced

The shoe is stylish and cozy but has too loose of a fit. I have a wide foot and it never felt snug in this shoe even with socks. The quality also feels lacking to be considered an approach shoe especially compared to competitors like la sportiva or BD. Perhaps if the price point was closer to a $100 I'd keep them but for their current valuation it's not worth it.

Comfortable and attractive daily shoe.

I was unsure of these but I love them. They are replacing my birkenstocks as daily office/home/wear around shoes. The casual feel and comfort of them feels pretty matched, but the function far exceeds what else I have. The vibram sole and smear toe really works. I could climb 5.9 in these if I really needed to. Been loving them for exactly the intended use, too. The flip down heel makes them so great for jumping in & out of climbing shoes in the gym or at the crag. Last, despite the low profile look, I am turning more heads in these than anything I own. 60% of my coworkers asked me about these on the day I got them. The compliments are flowing, if you're into that.

Comfortable, but two month break down

I purchased Arc’teryx’s Kragg Shoe expecting the high quality the brand is known for, but I’m extremely disappointed. After just two months of light use, the rubber on the side broke. For a premium product, this is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, when I reached out to customer service, they refused to acknowledge it as a defect and claimed it was “wear and tear.” This is shocking, especially since I found out that other customers with the exact same issue were offered vouchers as compensation. Why am I being treated differently? Case Number 01584932 It’s frustrating to see inconsistent and unfair handling of customer complaints. If this is how Arc’teryx deals with loyal customers, I’ll think twice before purchasing from them again. For the price we pay, both the product quality and customer service should be much better. I expected more from Arc’teryx, and this experience has been a major letdown.

It's great but...

Love the design, it's confortable, but I'm using for a few months only and it's already damaged and I'm using only in the city. I'm not a hiking person. For the price, these shoes should be more resistant. I saw the new Black mid-height shoe but if it will be durable same as this beige model, don't worth the money. Maybe on sale it's ok, but not the full price.

I get the exact issue after only 2 months of wearing of city walk. I also sent service request and told that they can only give me a 48 bucks gift card used Arcteryx.

Super comfortable, bad quality though

They’re super comfortable but the quality is crap. The pull tab came off within 2 month and I’d only been wearing them for a few weeks. I’ve worn my Araksys approach shoes for 7 years now and they’re in better condition than the Kragg was after a few weeks. I really wanted to like these shoes but at $160 they’re not worth it.

Comfortable but bad quality

I received these shoes at the beginning of September and I have used them often because they are extremely comfortable, but I think that €160 shoes cannot last only two months, they are opening up at the top both on the left side more markedly than on the right, I wonder if there is some sort of guarantee, otherwise for the first time I am extremely disappointed by a brand that I consider excellent

Good, but arrived moldy.

The overall product seems to be good quality - but I received mine and it appears there is mold on both of the "tongue" areas. It wasn't too bad, and I just wiped them off with alcohol wipes, but this is kind of disappointing for a brand like Arc.

Great all round shoes! Sizing could be better

Extremely comfortable, and seem to be reasonably durable too. I wish Arc'teryx would switch to making half size jumps between shoe sizes instead of 2/3 jumps. Because of this I can only wear them with very thin socks or no socks - and if I size up it's way too big. Especially since it's a performance oriented brand, fit is very important.

Great casual shoes but not for the approach

Shoes are comfortable until you use them to walk downhill. Foot slips with in the shoes and then my toes would constantly smach into the front of the shoes. I think there would be great for wearing casually or while traveling, but not for the approach or crags.

Sleek, comfortable but not durable.

I bought a pair as soon as they were released. The design is very minimalist and sharp. The insole is about an inch thick, making it very comfortable. The Vibram sole has excellent traction. I usually wear Onitsuka Tiger slip-ons when I go out, and I've been alternating them with this pair. Durability of these shoes is quite disappointing. After just a few months, the pull tab at the heel tore where it connects to the upper, and the padding in the heel also ripped. Today, a small hole appeared where the fabric of the upper connects to the rubberized material. Hope Arc'teryx addresses these issues in the next generation of this product.

Another Great Arc’teryx Product

Absolutely love these shoes. So much so I bought the Kragg boots as well after wearing these. ( Love the Kragg Boots aswell!). Wear these on my daily walks, around the house, around town and during travel. Super comfortable and great looking.

These shoes didn’t last me a month

My pair of Kragg’s started to rip at the flex point within a week of wearing them. I would advise against buying these, even for light use. I was told by staff that the issue is common in store and on the phone, so I’m not sure why they’re still available / not updated. I’ve only worn them indoors, I couldn’t imagine taking these to the crag.

Personal fav for 2024

Probably worthwhile writing a review for these. These are my top shoe of the last year by a landslide. I am a bit of a shoe guy (definitely lost count of how many pairs) and these are my go to every day shoe since they released. Ive walked over 30,000 steps a day in these on many occasions and over all my other shoes, these stand out for overall comfort, foot fatigue and style. Hats off to Arcteryx on the cushy insole. I have them in both black and white, they're true to size, but do stretch out a tiny bit over time like all sock shoes. But yea, get these, or don't so they're easier for me to get. I made the mistake of suggesting them to a well known streetwear shoe reviewer and now they're always out of stock hahaha

Kragg comfy.

Purchased the Kraggs as a to & from the gym, as well as before & after hitting the slopes. I want a shoe with the collapsible heal for easy ingress/egress. Unfortunately the heal does not fold down as nicely as my OulKai’s. They are soft & comfortable & fir true to size. In my opinion they are overpriced

Best Slip-on's but give sweaty feet

This slip-on is really on some different timing. Its beautiful for the Gorpcore asthetic and goes so well with cargos and work wear. Comfort is truly unlike any slip-on's ive ever had plus the Vibram sole is insane. But my ONLY criticism is the lack of breathablity around the toe, thus making my feet sweaty.

sizing is off

nice shoe but the size chart is ridiculous...i ordered a 7 which shows as a european 40, too small. When i went to return them, the site shows them as a size 6.5....why can shoe companies never seem to get something so simple as size right...

Purchase history shows UK size instead of US size. Check the size on the shoes.

Sehr bequem

Habe die Schuhe in Vietnam in der Stadt und auf leichten Wanderungen getragen. Super bequem und trocknen schnell wieder. In sehr matschigen Passagen musste man natürlich aufpassen, dass es einem den Schuh nicht auszieht aber ansonsten ist das laceless Design sehr angenehm.

My new everyday shoe.

Amazing shoe. My girlfriend says it looks like something designed by Kanye West. Much more comfortable than what is expected. I love the insoles which are super cushy. A perfect shoe for standing all day in with great breathability.

Versatile shoe and great for climbing

Super comfortable shoe and easy to slip on and off. I ordered the canvas/canvas colorway and was pretty impressed with how it looks in person. I use them when I belay during climbing as well as a comfy shoe around town. The canvas colorway looks nice with slacks and jeans as well and it’s a pretty versatile shoe for being so simple.

Exceptionally Comfortable

These shoes are wild! At first glance, I had my doubts. They kinda look like water shoes or the kind that old folks wear when they can't bend over to tie their shoes anymore (which is how I also feel many days). But any doubts I had about the shoes melted away immediately after sliding them on for the first time. They are outrageously comfortable and supportive. Probably the closest thing to walking around on memory foam but in a functional shoe. Arc'teryx nailed a perfect blend of impressive comfort in a functional package. I've put these through the wringer in the couple months or so that I've had them. I brought them down to Joshua Tree for a week long climbing course I was teaching and couldn't have been happier with how they performed. Surprisingly supportive, breathable, and again, wildly comfortable. I have worn them on approaches and easy hikes for 2+ miles and have loved them. Having the back heel collapse for easy on and off between climbs has also been a huge plus. I've seen other companies put out similar shoes but these are hands down the best I've seen across the industry. Highly recommend!

I got my 45 1/3 Kraggs a few weeks ago (my foot length is 28,2cm). I fell in love with them right on the first try as they are simply the most comfortable shoe I ever wore. I’d say the sizing is true to size. The thick memory foam insole is just amazing. I also love the look - clean and minimalistic. I wish they were more breathable as they can get a bit sweaty in higher temps. I could imagine Arc‘ might come up with a more breathable mesh-type version as well as a waterproof gore-tex version in the future. :-)
