Wenn das Wetter mal wieder unbeständig ist, erweist sich diese Jacke als perfekter Begleiter – sei es auf dem Fahrrad oder auf dem Weg ins Büro. Sie ist angenehm leicht und atmungsaktiv, was für einen hohen Tragekomfort sorgt. Bei kühlem Wind empfiehlt es sich jedoch, eine etwas dickere Schicht darunter zu tragen, da die Jacke nicht stark gegen Kälte isoliert – was allerdings auch nicht zu erwarten war. Insgesamt eine tolle Übergangsjacke für bewegungsintensive Tage!

4,5 Sterne; super aber Wärmestau unter den Armen

Wenn halbe Sterne möglich wären, würde ich 4,5 vergeben. Die Jacke sieht richtig gut aus, ist super gemütlich, leise und das Belüftungssystem über die Ärmel klappt beim Fahrradfahren sehr gut. Auch finde ich den Saum an den Ärmeln super. ABER die Jacke könnte 3-4 cm länger sein (ich habe M gekauft und bin 1,85m groß). Die Ärmel sind perfekt, der sonstige Sitz auch, nur ein bisschen länger wäre gut. Außerdem: Unter die Achseln müssen Belüftungslöcher oder Reißverschlüsse. Sobald der Layer darunter durchgeschwitzt ist, sammelt sich der Schweiß in den Achselbereichen der Jacke, da sich die Wärme dort staut. Dies ist dann sichtbar. Mit einem feuchten Lappen konnte ich die Rückstände zuhause abwischen, jedoch frage ich mich, wie lange der Stoff das verträgt, wenn ich die Jacke für längere Touren nutze. Hier sollte -unbedingt- mit besagten Lüftungslöchern oder Reißverschlüssen nachgebessert werden, dann wäre die Jacke perfekt.

Not waterproof at all

I bought this jacket, in the rain jacket section. When I received it it looked good quality, good zippers, adjustable hood, correct size, all good. The problem was when I used it, and it started to rain. I got completely soaked. At the slightest light rain the jacket is absolutely useless, and also breathes very little for how little waterproof it is. I think there are many better alternatives on the market at a better price.

For reliable protection in sustained rain, we’d recommend looking at our Beta line, which is specifically engineered for wet weather performance with GORE-TEX. I fell into he same trap asked for a windproof waterproof jacket and was sold this. Just got caught in a heavy shower in the middle of a city and have wet shoulders. A very expensive trendy jacket that is not much use to me in wet weather somewhere like London, let alone in the mountains. Would be good on a dry windy day, but that's not useful mountain gear in my humble opinion. I do feel a bit let down by the shop that sold me this, and will be feeding that back to that company.

My Everyday Summer Jacket

So I'm not one to shy away from bright colors and when I say the "sunshine yellow" Gamma Hoody I had to have it. It so perfect for Chicago springs which can rang from low 40s and chilly rain to 80s and sun. Either way the Game lightweight holds it down. Plus the chest pockets go crazy.

I’m 5’ 11” 185lbs. Shell is a perfect fit (size Large). Firm fitting, but not too much. Good fits well over helmet. Material is lighter weight than I expected, but a very comfortable feel with plenty of range of movement. Highly recommend.

medium fit i thought was pretty good, allow for layering. but the hood only has the one adjustment. i dont care for that hood setup on my jackets, i have had it with a couple and drives me crazy. so i had to return it
