Not as good as some cheap brand

Waste of money, I feel cold and water enter the fabric. It's not durable as expected thin insulation. True to size fits perfect but its not breathable.

Super thin Fabric ripped on first use

I purchased this jacket as a base layer to my beta AR shell. I only wore the jacket underneath the shell (so there was no snags). After the first hiking trip I washed the jacket and there is now a major rip in the top right corner. Extremely disappointed with this product but even more disappointed with the customer service. I contacted customer service and they told me that is not covered under warranty. Clearly they don’t stand behind after their product. I miss the old arctyrex.

Atom Best jacket easy to pack and travel with. Fold into a pillow as well. Great for SoCal weather 2nd jacket last one still works just got chemicals on it. They will not come out.

Love it, except....

Everyday wear. A nice lightweight jacket with just enough insulation to provide solid wind protection and warmth for a cool/windy day. I love this jacket, clean lines, just the right amount of pockets, collar stays up, fits nice at the wrists and waist. This is my go to spring/fall jacket for everyday wear. However,... zipper has tendency to unzip if I've stop short of mid sternum. So when unzipping half way down the jacket, to maybe allow a little heat to escape, the zipper likely will drop to the bottom of the jacket within a short distance of just walking. So knowing that, I've come to terms that it's either 3/4 to full zip, or an unzipped jacket for me.

Atom hits the mark

I use the atom jacket for walking and a bit of trekking, it’s still cold here so the jacket is warm enough to get by with long sleeve tee shirt. I understand why the stretch panels are on the side and maybe I should have ordered one without as the wind cools me off very quickly. The product is as advertised, plus I love the colour, soulsonic.

I’m not often compelled to leave reviews on products. That being said, this jacket is wonderful. Great quality, the color matches the pictures on the website, and the cut is just right. For reference I am 5’10, about 185. The medium left me with enough room for a light mid layer but still fits perfect with just a t-shirt. The neck is lined with a super soft suede like material which is nice. Perfect for a 40-50 degree day of light activity or a 20-40 degree day of high output.

Too light , disappointed

I bought this to replace my old Atom jacket. the old one is much better and warmer . This new jacket is about as warm as my Gamma jacket. Wind goes right through the sleeves. This jacket is not for winter use. I am disappointed you took a great jacket and made it that much less versatile.
