That new sock feel

Gosh I love new socks. Especially when the fit is perfect, which these are. I wasn't a fan of the first generation Arc socks (the toe-box didn't fit right and they were super narrow) but the new fit of these is perfect. Durable and have slight compression through the middle (arch) where you want it. Just perfect!

I own both the Arcteryx wool blend socks as well as these new synthetic socks now. Although I can't base by review on a long period of use, and I'm generally a huge fan of wool blend socks (darn tough are my favorites), I'm impressed by these synthetic low cuts. The socks provide a good amount of cushioning for runs; are snug fitting, don't shift and - I got caught out in a significant rain event recently...the socks kept my feet warm and dry for a while...when finally soaked through, they maintained their shape/didn't slip around and still kept my feet reasonably happy. Big fan so far!

These are the most comfortable socks I have ever worn. I wear them daily + for all approaches and cragging. They're lightweight and odor resistant.
