Terrible Redesign - Unwearable

I am sorely disappointed by the remake of the once great Norvan LD shoe. I have exclusively run in Norvan LDs for the past 5 years and loved them - this missed the mark big time. Within 5 minutes of my run, my toes went completely numb. No amount of adjusting in the laces could fix it. This new design had a tight elastic section that wraps and compresses the midfoot, limiting blood flow and causing issues. When I reached out to Arc'teryx, I was told there was nothing they could do since I had worn them outside. I am sorely disappointed by not only the customer support I received, but also by Arc'teryx changing a once great product. I am a serious runner - have won multiple trails races in their shoes - and literally cannot wear these due to poor quality. I caution anyone who has had Norvan LDs in the past that these are very different. And I did indeed choose a half size down based on other reviews. I'll end my rambling by saying don't waste your money on these (and then get stuck with them like I did).

Made for every adventure

A trail runner that can handle it all. The Norvan LD 4 has become my daily adventure driver from dog walks to day hikes, to short runs, long days on shoots and even my backpacking partner. I'm blown away by the versatility of this shoe to show up in all environments, pack loads, trail conditions and the amount of days I've already stacked on them. A quality designed supportive weapon of a shoe.

Great shoes but sizing is off

These shoes are great - my go-to trail runners. There is an issue with the sizing, however. I typically wear a size 7.5. I tried on the 7s and my feet were swimming and had to size down to 6.5. I noticed, however, that the EU size was 38 - which is my typical size and is, I think, technically a 7.5. I wonder if there was a conversion issue when the went to label the US sizes. I'd recommend trying these on in store and not buying online.

Comfortable and cute!!!

I got these shoes right before a two week trip to Paris and Lisbon, spent some time running and walking around both cities and found them to be extremely comfortable. The slick cobblestone tiles in Portugal (especially during the rainy season) proved to be tricky to navigate, but these shoes kept me upright. I've ran pavement and trails in them and found them to be both comfortable and grippy. I went canyoneering and hiking in Utah at Blarney in them and they also proved to be super comfortable and had high traction. At first they took a bit to break in width-wise, but I found them to be perfect once they had some wear to them.

Great shoes!

I’ve been using these trail running shoes for a few weeks now, and I’m impressed. The shoes are incredibly lightweight while still offering solid support. The comfort level is exceptional. The cushioning is responsive without being overly soft, so I still feel connected to the ground, but without the impact fatigue. The fit is snug but not tight, with just the right amount of room in the toe box. Overall, these shoes strike an ideal balance between performance and comfort. They’re a great pick for anyone looking for a lightweight, breathable trail runner that doesn’t sacrifice support or durability. Plus they look great!

Comfortable and adorable!

These are the most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever put on and walked in. I love the little area to tuck in your laces so you don’t see them. They are lightweight and a great pink color. So happy with my purchase!

Not as comfortable as earlier versions

Not the same shoe as my original Norvans. These are uncomfortable to put on because of the elastic tongue, which grips the foot awkwardly and adds to a too-tight feeling around my foot. Additionally the tongue seems to have a spine in the middle that bunches up and looks strange. I wish I had kept my old shoes!

Skoene føles greie på foten i hvile. Ved bruk til løping føles skoene svært stive og etter en kort løpetur har jeg ikke følelse i foten lengre, ikke fornøyd.
