Very cozy and love the color

Fits nicely and is very warm! I sized up to a medium so I could wear sweaters under in cooler weather. I typically wear a size small but the medium was a little longer which fit better. If I didn’t want to layer I would have chosen the small.

Too short and boxy

I’m 5’10” and I find this too short and boxy - I wish I’d looked at photos before purchasing, as you can tell even on the models. I kept it but only wear it under things (and it annoyingly rides up sometimes, because of the length). Also don’t love the colour selection. I got the light grey (not a colour I’d usually buy) because there was nothing better.

Can’t take it off!

I am obsessed with this fleece! The boxcar color is stunning and super flattering. I do not find the body of this to be too short as others have stated. I am 5’5” and the hem hits below the top of my hip bones. I will agree that the arms run a bit tight, but I only plan to wear light/form fitting layers underneath and have muscular arms. The body isn’t very tight but I feel it makes the fit more comfortable, if it were tighter, it would feel stifling. It retains heat extremely well. I wore it to sleep on cold and rainy backpacking trips and stayed warm but did not overheat.

As others have mentioned, the previous version fit nicely and was the perfect length and width. Now it is far too short in the torso and the arms and is quite boxy. Very disappointing.

The covert cardigan was the first Arcteryx clothing piece I fell in love with the minute I saw it. It is such an elevated, timeless cardigan and super stylish. The brushed fleece backer is super cozy and soft and provides so much warmth. I got it recently and it is too warm to wear currently, but it's been great to throw on when the AC has been blasting. I know when the weather gets chillier I will be living in this fleece.

I own 4 women's Covert Cardigans that I've had for a number of years and wear almost every day. They're starting to show some wear so ordered a couple new colors. The fit has changed completely and I was disappointed how boxy the new cut is so sent them back.

Great fleece - poor zipper

Love my 2 year old Covert, but the zipper has always been an issue - and now the bottom part of the zipper simply just fell off. I have many items with zippers but only from Arcteryx they seems to be of a not so strong quality. Hope it can be fixed in some way?

I purchased the light heather grey colour in 2022. I find the fit is boxy - a little tight around the bottom with room through the rest of the body and the arms. It's also shorter than I would like (I'm 5'9"). The colour selection also always seems to be boring compared to Arc'teryx' other offerings - I wish there were some richer colours on offer. Probably would look to another brand to find a better fit and colours if I needed a second fleece, particularly as this seems to be the most expensive one on the market.

I love my previous years version but this newest version is significantly shorter. It would probably work well for someone with a short torso but is no longer as comfortable or flattering for me as the previous version.

Nice cardigan but liked last years version bettet.

Nicely made but the shorter length made me sad. Last year version made me very happy. This one is nice too and I will keep but don’t have the same feel good feeling. It almost feels like it is for a petite but the arms are nice and
long so it is not. I wear a shirt under that I don’t tuck so may hang out too much. I think it is just them going for a ‘new style’ to keep moving forward.

I have an older version of this cardigan that I love. I wanted another in a different color and tried it on in the store. It is now boxy and unflattering. The arms are a bit tight, so I am unable to go down in size, yet there is way too much room through the belly. I used to love the fit of Arcteryx tops because they were cut for a feminine yet athletic build.

Absolutely agree!
Arcteryx was my go-to as they nailed the fit for slim and athletic. However so many new products are just too boxy. Why not stick to what you are known and appreciated for?

I was looking for a go-to fleece for a Canadian city winter and decided to try this jacket based on the reviews. I got my usual size (XS) and found the sleeves, especially around the armpits to be WAY too tight, despite the fact that I’m a petite and slim build. Even with just a camisole on underneath, there was bunching. This fit paired with the stiff fabric makes this jacket incredibly uncomfortable and slightly useless as a winter layering piece (unless you wear tank tops exclusively throughout the winter). I was debating between this and the Kyanite jacket and am so disappointed to find out that the Kyanite is now sold out. I tried to exchange for something I would actually use in-store but due to the fact it was purchased online I was unable to. Save yourself the trouble and get yourself something designed to fit an actual human being.

Poor fit

I have an older model I am very happy with, so I wanted to get a second cardigan. Unfortunately the new fit does not work for me at all - the sleeves are too tight in my usual size while the boxy cut is too wide in the waist and the hips. Overall the fit was so uncomfortable I decided to try the men's version instead or look elsewhere altogether.

Totally agree, new and improved is anything but. Loved the old stuff and old fit, have many many Arc’teryx items but nothing fits now. Customer response is the same for every review as well. That, plus the dreadful returns system means I will be looking elsewhere.

I was in need of a new everyday sweater and decided on this in color Atmos Heather. In person, the color is a little lighter than I expected. I thought it would have a touch more grey, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. It’s incredibly cozy and warm. The perfect jacket for the office or running errands. I like this revised model versus older ones. It has very clean and minimal seams. I’m happy with this purchase.

Better than previous models

I had this jacket years ago and really wanted to love it. The material was great but the slim fit was just too snug (sizing up didn’t help). This version feels fitted, but not too baggy. The torso is a boxier cut which is a bit looser than I’d like. Regardless, I can wear this to work and it looks professional and casual. I don’t think the fit is quite there so minus one star, but it is quite close. I’m keeping this one even though it’s not 5/5

I've had this fleece for a few months now and I have fallen in love with it! It is so lovely and warm. It looks smart on its own and fits neatly for layering under jackets. It is comfortable and moves well for all my outdoor activities (mainly hiking and skiing). I have had loads of compliments about it!

I waited years for lighter colors to come back and for pockets to remain same color! Thank you so much Arcteryx for listening to our requests!!!! I just purchased 3 covert jackets - the pink which I ADORE & the camel /Fallow heather & Jupiter heather in the hoody.

NOT Pink in Desert Salt as Images Portray

Gorgeous jacket, as usual beautifully made. The fit is updated to not be so tight - it is a bit roomier so I can take my normal medium unlike in the past they were too form fitting. The Pink look in the photos is not pink at all. It is a pale sand color with just a smidgen of peach. The color is very nice if that is what you desire but I really wanted a light pink covert. I am really disappointed in Arcteryx website portrayals of items - I returned a codetta cinch jacket numerous times because each of the colors was badly represented. Please provide spring fresh pretty feminine colors, we don't want the depression era hues - we are women - we want pretty! In removed a star because the returns process is seriously annoying when you are in a time crunch.
