Fits DIfferenty than Cerium Jacket

I purchased this vest in size small as that was the size I purchased with my cerium jacket. I am shocked at how slim the vest fits and how it is not possible to layer under in comparison to the jacket which laying is possible with a size small.
Very disappointed how the exact same naming of vest and jacket fit differently. Makes it tough to determine which size should be purchased.
Purchase a size up if you want to wear anything at all underneath the vest other than a tight fitting shirt.

the could-be-great vest

The vest is warm and covers my neck well keeping cold air out. The pockets are of a good size and warm. My biggest complaint is the zipper. The zipper appears sized for a child and surely not an adult male. It's way too small and appears flimsy and cheap. This is inexcusable for such an expensive clothing brand. Otherwise, a very good product at best

Beautiful Vest Incorrectly Labeled

I have been looking for an attractive warm vest and was very pleased to find a good looking puffer vest on the Arcteryx website. My Arcteryx jackets have excellent quality. Ordered a large and was extremely disappointed to discover that the vest shipped was a medium. The attached label says it is a large. It does not fit and is a medium as the inside collar states.

Lightweight and Warm Puffy Vest

After shopping around for a new vest, landed on this one in black. Lightweight but still packs in a lot of warmth. The interior pocket stuff sack is roomy and doesn't put any stress on the zipper when packing it up. Only minor dislike is that it feels like the fill below the arms on the chest are a little light compared to the rest of the vest. Still recommend as a great midlayer or as a stand alone on sunny days.

Great Vest - tricky sizing

This vest is warm, super light, very packable, and does everything I want it to. However, I feel like Arc'teryx has changed their sizing recently and I ordered a large which I found to be a bit too big in the stomach area. Consider sizing down if you are on the edges of the sizing chart.

Excellent all around piece. I wear it mountaineering, snowboarding, to the office under a long wool coat or my Beta AR, in the spring, fall, winter. It's light yet warm. Zero complaints. Love this vest!

Owned previous cerium coats which have lasted years, but this vest ripped 1 week into wearing it and started shedding down. I contacted Arctyerx, about a possible exchange and they stated the best they could do was send me tape to cover the hole. I decided to take the product into an Arc'teryx store where they did just that. The tape looks awful. For a product that is so expensive, you would think Arc'teryx would have a better solution to repairing or exchanging their products. I am a loyal customer, but am extremely upset about this outcome. Compared to other companies who will replace products years after wear and tear no problem.

Welcome on the same boat, Lifetime warranty and affordable repair its just a marketing trick, I learned that hard way too, if product raises even slightest concers return it, cause sense of problems is always right.

I have other vest bye Patagonia & North Face & etc. But this Arctyrex vest is soooo much nicer. The fit finish & quality is amazing. Trust me, people will know this is a quality piece. I get a lot of compliments and a lot of people ask me about the brand and where they can buy it.

Handy Core Warmer vest

My core gets cold but not my legs or arms. This Cerium vest is the keeps my core warm without sweating. When I do warm up, just unzipping the vest part or fully allows for heat regulation. I know everyone doesn't have a cold core problem but it would really thoughtful if Arc'Teryx would consider making an all in one bottom-up and top-down front zippers so one could zip open from the bottom to mid-ribs allowing the core and chest to be warm where you really need it during quickly changes inclement conditions.

This Arc'teryx Vest beats all competition. The design, functionality and comfort plus highly packable. It’s my goto vest for my technical and everyday clothing. The only thing that prevents me from getting five stars is the small zippers. Hopefully the designers will improve the design for future versions of these vest.

Great vest except for a bit of looseness at the back of the shoulders. Could just be because of my small frame. I’m 5’11” and went for the M, definitely the right choice.

I owned this exact vest a few years back. Unfortunately it was stolen. This newer vest doesn’t quite seem to be as full of down as my previous. Not sure if they changed it? Works great as a base layer.
