Granville 30 Carryall Bag

I have this bag and LOVE it. I use it for everything - everyday use, for the beach, for gear hauling. It’s super light and durable and fits SO much. BUT I wish it had an inner pocket/sleeve for a phone (not just the water bottle pockets), and I wish the zipper on the outer pocket opened at the top rather than the side. Sometimes I forget to zip up the pocket, which leads to small items falling out.

Flap needs redesign

Great quality, but the flap needs a redesign. Why not use magnets so it stays closed or think of some other mechanism. And maybe an inside pocket more.

100% this. In the photos, it looks like it has some mechanism to hold it down. It doesn't! It simply doesn't do what it's doing in the pictures. They must have taped it down to get those photos, which is exceptionally shady—a false representation of the function! What exactly where they thinking here? It can't even be called a flap since it just stands upright, and no amount of folding will make it stay down. I feel cheated by the photos.

I've been looking for a new all around tote bag for hauling items to and from my car; things I carry daily, like gym clothes, gym shoes, large water bottle, and also something to throw my lunch and purse into. This bag is definitely a splurge, but I also wanted something that won't wear out and would be ultralight to carry. Like all of my gear from Arc'teryx, I'm 100% pleased with this bag. First of all, it's big! Bigger than my gym bag. Plenty of room to throw my work clothes into when I change at the gym, which includes my heavy Dr. Martens. In the winter, there will room for my long coat. It will also work as a great travel bag. I can use it for weekends at the beach. I can take it to the farmers market on Sundays. There are endless uses for it, considering its lightweight, yet large and durable. A plus is it's water resistant. Really happy I purchased one.

Everyone need at leat one of these in their lives! I use mine for everything; indoor climbing, shopping, traveling, gear bag ..... I absolutely love this bag, and can imagine a life without one.

I own this bag in black and I love it. I love the material, AC2, and the fact it can hold so much and have two pockets for water bottles. Easily my daily tote bag for shopping or taking it on outings with friends and family. Some places for improvement: 1. make the strap a bit longer for over the shoulder fit. It can be difficult to have it over the shoulder when the bag is empty or even when really full. A longer strap would allow me to use my armpit to keep the bag stationary while using my arm and hand to hold it in place. 2. maybe add a magnet to the flap that covers the zipper. Right now, I fold the flap twice for a pretty secure closure, but once i take it off my arm, the flap opens again. 3. add at least one more pocket on the long panels inside of the bag. something where i can throw random stuff into that wont get lost in the giant space. for example, i could throw keys or a wallet inside the bag versus the exterior zip which is less secure.

just wanted to add an update on this bag. Its been raining a lot where I live and this bag has been excellent for my daily carry. Where I live, I dont need a car so Its either public transportation or walking and this bag has kept its contents dry. I wish the bag did have some sort of "rubber" at the apex of the handles, something you see on camera straps that gives extra grip when its on your shoulder. if you wear shell, one of the straps can slip off your shoulder due to the slipperiness of the jacket + strap. its usually just one strap that slips off.

I got this bag with the intention of using it as a gym bag. It's huge and comfortably fits a change of clothes, yoga towel, shower towel, shoes and yoga mat sticks out the top. There are two very small pockets (my water bottle fits perfectly in one of them). Very versatile and love the exterior pocket. What would really make it a 10/10 for me would be: a shoulder strap and additional internal pocket for organizing.
