SURFER
Growing up on the secluded shores of Tofino, B.C., Pete waded into the world of surfing at the tender age of six and hasn't looked back. Pete's father, a fellow surfer himself, instilled in the young Pete a love for nature, a thirst for adventure and the power of patience, and by the time he was 14, Pete was already competing in surfing competitions throughout Europe and North America. While Pete has travelled extensively in search of the perfect break, from California to the Catlins and Portugal to the Pribilof Islands, he feels most at home in cold waters. For Pete, the appeal of cold water surfing comes from the excitement of discovering unknown and untouched surf spots, and his desire to inspire a new generation of high-performance wetsuit surfers. While surfing has always been a way for Pete to push his technical limits and "escape" from the noise of the everyday, it's family that grounds this aquaman. A devoted family man, doting father, and proud pup owner, Pete loves the routine of family life, whether it be walking the family dog or introducing his young son to the peaceful practice of surfing.
