Norvan LD 4鞋 男装

I used if for over 80K last weekend during my Quebec Mega Trail race. Felt super comfortable the whole time, no foot pain or blisters. Also super light and great grip on rocks, roots and mud !

The LD3 was nearly a perfect running shoe. I was excited to buy and wear the LD4, but almost immediately found that the LD4 wad a massive step backwards. This shoe puts Arcteryx well behind the other competitors in this space. Pain in the forefoot, a tongue that bunches, a sole that is totally unsuited for long days on the trail. Add to that the bizarre choices for colors and design (why are the shoes done in blocky two tone?), sizing that's no longer consistent with any other models in the Arcteryx lineup, and you have a shoe that doesn't make any top ten lists for trail shoes in 2025. It's a shame, the LD3 was phenomenal, and I had high hopes for the LD4, but the LD4 is not an upgrade from the LD3, it's a totally different shoe that shares almost no similarities. I hope the team can have a look at what the leaders in this space are doing and take some notes. Until then I'll be avoiding your running shoes and my LD4s will be sitting unused in my garage.

Very comfortable and nice. They are light, good material and durability and great traction.

I’ve been using the Norvan LD 4 for trail running and fast hiking over the past months, mostly in the Alps and the Apennines. I typically train 3–4 times a week with this model of trail shoes, covering a mix of technical alpine terrain, forest paths, and wet, muddy trails and this one handled all of it with confidence. The fit is snug but not restrictive, with great lockdown through the midfoot. It felt secure even on off-camber or rocky descents. I found the cushioning to be just right for both longer and shorter outings, offering protection without feeling overly soft or disconnected from the ground. Whether scrambling on wet limestone or descending loose gravel, I felt stable and in control. The upper breathes well, and it dried quickly after creek crossings. All in all, this is a serious mountain-ready shoe that still feels light and responsive. Easily my go-to for long days on technical and runnable trails.

The Norvan LD3 was my all time favorite mountain running shoe. There is nothing on the market quite like it. The locked-in heel, toebox room, all day cushion, light weight, stellar grip were all so perfectly balanced. For reference, I've had two pairs of LD3s and put close to 1000 miles on each, putting them through the spectrum of long gravel trails, mud, alpine scrambling, 15, 20, 30+ mile days, 10,000ft+ ridge runs, etc. A little bit of everything. They were phenomenal all day long on everything (except they are particularly slick on summer snow). I am still breaking in the LD4s (these shoes take some time to break in). I have about 150 miles of trail and mountain running on them and here are my thoughts so far: The LD4 has a much different feel, like a completely different shoe. Some of the trademark features of the LD3 that I so loved seem to have have been diminished - the toe box seems bigger, so much so that I slide around (even though I sized down). That perfect heel lock seems to be gone - I slide forward more, no matter how much I snug down the laces. I preferred the additional drop and cushion of the ld3s for long runs on rugged terrain. I preferred the material and construction of the tongue on the LD3; it was more breathable (and somehow better cushioned), didn't bunch at the toes so much, and the finger loop made the lace garage much easier to access on the 3s. A lot of these feature changes are most noticeable on sustained climbs or descents, not as noticeable on flatter trails or rolling hills. I sort of wonder if, with the addition of a new climbing-focused, this one was adapted to be more of a flat distance trail shoe than a mountain shoe, which would track. So far, I really wish there were a few pairs of LD3s left in the outlet but I will keep working the 4s and see if things improve with more wear.

J'utilise la version LD3 de cette chaussure et je les trouvées très confortable.avec un bon amorti. Les coloris sont pléthoriques, signe peut-être du succès de cette chaussure. J'utilise le système du rangement des lacets que partiellement, en rangeant juste les boucles, pour éviter de galérer pour les sortir.

Out of the box, I’ve enjoyed these shoes. They are good on trail or road, although admittedly spending more time on the trail with them. Love the colours and often get compliments on them! Loving the orange. They been durable, running them multiple times though scree and scrambling a bit in them as well. So far so good! Nothing outside of regular wear and tear. The tongue pouch is great for the laces, haven’t had them come undone when tucking them into the pouch in the upper tongue. Great feature. Enjoying them!

I do not recommend this product due to the design of the tongue. After just two days of wearing, the front of my feet got scratched badly and I cannot wear them anymore. The customer service refused to address this problem since I wore them just for 2 days and recommended me to trade them in for credits. As I thought Arc’teryx is a consumer centric and high end brand, it turns out to be the exact opposite. Bad designs and even worse shopping experience.

Wanted to love these shoes. Great look. Loved by Norvan LD 3rd gens. But these are sadly a downgrade. Primary issue is some kind of bulky seam alowance in the forefoot - right at the end of the laces that pinches and causes pain. It can be mitigated with a lot of fiddling. But I would really have expected Arc'teryx to wear test these and resolve this in advance... Big miss.

The shoe itself is constructed well. The insoles are comfortable and the look and style are great. The issue I have though is with the tongue and toe interface. The new elastic like tongue seems to bunch up at the toe when putting the shoe in and as I wear it through the day. I constantly need to pull up in the tongue to get it to stop bunching up at the top of my foot right above my toes. If it were possible to return the shoes I would as I don't see myself wearing them for the next year or two like I do with many of my other Arc'Teryx shoes. This is the first time I've been less than pleased with an Arc'Teryx product.

Der Schuh passt wie angegossen. Bin lange nicht mehr gelaufen und war überrascht wie viel ein guter Schuh ausmacht. Die Verarbeitung wirkt solide und die Ausführung in blau ist echt ein Hingucker. Grössenangabe passt meiner Meinung nach.

Comfy fit, ran well, and love the orange color. Ample support on the inner/outer foot and easy on the toes. Only issue is that heel could use more cushion, especially for a heel striker like myself.

Anyone writing positive reviews of this shoe has not given other trail running shoes from other brands a chance. The tongue is incredibly thick (why?), they don't fit to size, rather disappointing to look at, and what's with the crazy color blocking options? Bring back and build upon the LD2s, the current line feels like they're being designed by people that don't actually run... As someone so heavily invested in your brand for many years, it's time to be ahead of the curve not 3-4 years behind it when it comes to footwear. Every new version is a completely different shoe... still not a "go-to". These feel miles below premium. The soft upper makes my foot feel like it's floating around. Just not it.

I've hiked and ran in these! Super comfortable, lightweight and I love the colour too!

I've run, walked, and hiked, in these shoes on road, crushed limestone gravel, mud, and technical mountain terrain. Overall, I put in about 50 miles in and, compared with the LD3s, these feel like a very different shoe. The toe box is a little roomier, the tongue/sock is redone, and the heel cup feels like it more comfortably hugs my heel. Overall the changes for me feel like a step in the right direction. I prefer a roomier toe box and less of a drop, but the stability and responsiveness of this shoe over rocky terrain is very impressive. The tongue fabric is considerably thinner and I have to pull it up my more where it runs up my ankle to emulate kind of a built in sock, which rubs against my sock/feet, but does not cause any issues. I've had other longer tongues that dig into the skin. This really helps to keep debris out and I feel it hugging my feet. Well done on ensuring this isn't an issue. The lace garage in this tongue is really nice and a bit deeper than the one from LD3 (I didn't measure but it feels deeper). It feels like it really houses my laces much better! Overall a solid job, besides my personal preferences on what I like in a trail running shoe. They do run a little big, so I had to size down a half size from what I normally wear for running shoes.

Estoy un poco decepcionado con estas LD4. No es una mala zapatilla, está bien construida, pero estoy perdiendo lo que me gustaba de las LD3. No es ni de lejos tan rápida, reactiva y divertida como la Sylan. También me gusta tener más espacio para los dedos, como en las LD3 y las Sylan, y en estas se nota menos.

I've put about 25 miles on these shoes and find them to have good ground contact and a comfortable upper. If you are someone who doesn't like the banana shaped shoes like the Sylan, the LD4 might be worth a try. My main gripe with these shoes is that they are too rigid for my running style. I prefer shoes to have a bit more bend to them. Like I said, not a bad shoe! I would just prefer to run in the Sylans. Note: the LD4 run a little big, so I suggest going a half size down from your normal size.

The new Norvan LD4 feels like a completely new model with good features! The Vibram sole is extra sticky and overall feels sturdier than the LD3, which makes them better for running on softer surfaces, aka dirt and grassy trails. These seem to run bigger than previous models, and love the addition of the laces pocket!

The attention to detail and R&D to take the LD up another notch is clear, this isn't just a rebrand of the LD3. I already have over 100km in my first pair of LD4's and they are holding up great, aside from a little mud they look like they just came out of the box. I love the feel of the toe box, a touch roomier than the LD3 but still feels locked in. Tongue wraps the upper foot for a dialled fit and helps to keep debris out. The grip and stability is amazing especially on wet and greasy rocks/roots. Glad to see the lace garage in the tongue made it onto the LD4, remains one of my fave features.
