Terrible Customer Service

Just a follow-up on my review below. I sent the pants to the product service department (at my expense), and they sent them back with the same defective snaps. I asked again for a refund, and was told that they will not give me my money back, and offered a voucher instead. I had to buy different pants in the middle of my trip because it was clear I could not ski in these without them literally falling down, so the voucher does me no good. Given the reviews, the company knows that it is selling a defective product and is continuing to do it anyway, and then refusing refunds when people figure out that they have purchased an expensive products that they cannot use.

Can’t believe these were tested before production

If these pants didn’t spring open with every bend they would be amazing! I’m so disappointed and don’t understand how they passed the product design stage. Not only do the snaps pop open but the zipper shoots down! I’ve tried every combination of adjustment to the sides possible and no matter what they pop open!! Poor design and just so disappointed, I have the insulated jacket which I love and am sad that these crazy expensive pants just don’t hold up!

Need smaller tall sizes

I am a tall woman and I struggle to find ski pants that are long enough, much less warm enough as I run very cold. I was excited to find these warmer insulated pants in tall sizes, but the smallest size in the tall length is a 6. I am not abnormally thin but in today's vanity sizing I wear a size 2 in most brands. On the off chance that these might be cut a little slimmer than typical vanity sizing, I ordered the 6 tall and the length was perfect, but it was too large on me, particularly in the waist. I don't mind extra room for movement in the legs but the extra fabric around the waist was bunching and uncomfortable, and I was worried about losing heat through the gapping waistband, which does adjust but ended up creating loops in the fabric when I adjusted it to fit my waist.
Otherwise, they seemed like a great pant and I didn't have the issue with the waistband snap that others mentioned, even going into a full squat with the waistband as tight as I could get it. I ended up returning because I wasn't willing to keep pants that really don't fit me at this price point. I would love to see smaller sizes in the tall lengths for women!

The bottoms do not work correctly. The moment you make a move, they are loose. It is very uncomfortable for skiing. I don't recommend them.

Defective pants

Do not buy these pants. I really wish I had read the other reviews before I did. The design is completely defective because as noted by other reviewers, the snaps at the waist pop open any time you squat or bend over. For skiing, that means they are completely useless.

Terrible pants and terrible warranty.

Do not buy these pants. The snaps are defective and don't stay done up. I tried to return/exchange the pants at the store where I purchased them and they would not replace/refund defective product. I was told that I have to send them back to arcteryx at my cost and be without the pants for several weeks (during ski season). Every time I bent over the snaps popped opened. I expected top notch service from this company and did not receive it. The Nita pant is NOT worth the price. Very annoyed that I spent $800 and will be without the item for an indeterminate length of time. Arcteryx has lost me as a customer.

Great fit!

Love the high waisted fit on these, and the volume in the leg looks amazing on! Finally a pair of insulated ski pants that look and feel stylish. I do agree with the button quality, but it hasn’t bothered me that much and the fit makes up for it!

Buttons are flimsy, don’t buy!

I bought these and am honestly extremely disappointed considering how much they cost. I’ve worn them three times while skiing on the mountain so far and every time I get off a lift or squat and stand up, the buttons pop right open and the zipper slides down. It’s impossible to get any enjoyment skiing when I have to re-zip my pants every time I get off a ski Lyft. The quality and fit are otherwise great, however I don’t understand who thought that two flimsy buttons would be enough to secure these pants properly. I wish I could get a refund but I’m not sure it’s possible since I’ve worn them already.

Nice color, warm but terrible fit

I bought these to replace an older version of this pant that I have loved for many years. I am 5'8 120lbs, slim with zero curve. Unfortunately, I regret buying these. They are so baggy thoughout the leg and small in the waist. Every time I bend over the buttons pop open. It's annoying. I'm not sure who would fit into these properly. I've used them twice and wish I had just sent them back when I first received them. What's going on with the sizing lately??

This exact same thing happened to me. The button pops open whenever I bend over or squat in ski position. Arcteryx would not exchange the pants because I had worn them once. Not sure how I was supposed to know this would happen without having worn them. Now I have to send them back to Arcteryx at my cost (after spending an exorbitant amount on the pants, and be without them for several weeks). Very disappointing.
