So far so good

Happy with these so far. I haven’t had them in truly wet conditions yet but some fairly heavy rain and stayed completely dry. The grip is excellent on our soggy BC trails, but I do find them fairly unstable due to the height, but thats mostly a me problem due. Im curious to try one of Arc’teryx’s lower riding runners because they did a great job on these so far. Can’t speak to their durability as I’ve only been out in them a dozen or so times, but hopefully its better than the Kopecs which got fried pretty quickly.

A: Comfortable and a good snug fit.

A: Find them a bit high/unstable

Best shoe!

Have had these shoe's for about 8 months and love them. I use them more for hiking and every day use. I have ran in them a few times, but more of a road runner so cant speak for the trail running aspect. The shoes are very comfortable and hold up very well. They are true to size and the tractions is great. I have taken them on multiple over night backpacking and trekking adventures on the trails. The waterproofing works very well. So many shoe's say they are waterproof but lie or eventually lose the waterproofing, these do not! I love that I can hose them off while wearing them once I get home from a trip and my socks aren't event damp. Only complaint is, I wish they offered more colors. Highly recommend these shoes for hiking and everyday use.

Bombproof shoe, great for all terrain.

Excellent shoe for front and backcountry adventures. Used in Japan for a month, movement felt effortless and easy. Lots of steep hills and mixed terrain, but never had a grip issue. Was stuck in absolute downpours and never got wet. The shoes never sweat and super light. The fit was dead on at 11 1/2. Did upgrade the insole but that's just preference. Wish had had owned these sooner. Well done Arcteryx, you exceeded my expectations.

Tralction with comfort

I bought the GTX as I was so impressed by the Sylan Pros that I had recently purchased. They were pretty comfortable straight out of the box. But a swift 10 km made them softened them up nicely. The grip is great on rock and trail. And you can tell the build quality immediately.

Sylan shoes for men

I bought Sylan shoes as a gift for my boyfriend birthday gift . He wore it for one week but he got sore feet and back pain and did not find them useful at all . He did not wear them anymore.. If you are looking for a comfortable shoes they are not comfortable at all .only suitable for short walking. Although i do like arcteryx brand and its quality i believe the shoes are not perfect.

Perfect Trail Shoe; Pocket for Laces is the Icon

These shoes are perfect for technical trail runs. They’re lightweight, yet durable, with an incredible grip that gives me confidence on steep and muddy terrain. The InFuse midsole provides great shock absorption, and the Vibram Megagrip outsole is a game-changer. My favorite feature is the small tongue pocket to tuck away the laces; such a thoughtful touch to prevent them from getting untied while running! The fit is roomy, which works for me, but if you prefer a snugger fit, I’d recommend sizing down a half size. Overall, these shoes are breathable, comfortable, and ready for any adventure!
