Proton SL Hoody Men's

One fact: Even though I've been buying, wearing and abusing mountain gear for nearly 40 years, I'm still not smart enough to avoid making big mistakes like this, yet. The only thing I can say is that this Proton FL Hoody is completely useless for activities such as winter ice, alpine ice, or high mountain rock. Completely useless as a mountaineering garment, in short. Nobody expects miracles, every fabric has its limits, but in the case of the Proton FL the resistance to abrasion, puncture and tearing is simply none (much lower than a Gamma SL Hoody, for example). Moreover, although it breathes quite well, when designing it, the mistake was made of not knowing how to find the balance between breathability and protection against the wind. It doesn't cut the wind much more than a laminated fleece like a Powerstretch, for example. Furthermore, as a middle layer, and as another person has written here, 250 EU would be absurd, added to the fact that despite being a combination of insulation plus a shell, it provides less heat than a Delta LT, for example. It might be a great running hoody, but that's about it. Nice? very nice. Mine in Conifer is very pretty, but that's about it. Basically, the mistake is mine, but... Regards
