I just got these pants and wore them in the Rockies ski touring under my shell pants today. It was a very chilly day, -26 in the morning with a wind chill of -40 (not recommended for a day in the mountains), however, these pants made the experience oh soooo much better. They are cozy and fit well. I'm thinking of getting another pair!

I wear these pants under my shell pants for both ice climbing and skiing. I am prone to getting very cold on my thighs and backside, and these work amazingly well. I know they were designed for running, but they work better than anything I've tried for long days in single-digit temps paired with a shell. The length is also perfect for pairing with a ski or mountaineering boot. I only wish they had made more fun colors!

While these pants are designed as a single piece and may not be ideal for layering, they deliver exceptional warmth and versatility. One slight downside is the length, which runs a bit short; however, the absence of zippers or buttons at the bottom hem is a smart and enhances comfort and avoids snags. Overall, the Norvan Insulated Pant is a well-thought-out and functional option for anyone tackling winter adventures.

Bought these for winter running/hiking, but have worn them for x-country skiing as well, and am surprised at how much a like them. I have even found myself wearing them as lounge/apres pants when it’s cold. These have quickly become one of my fav winter articles of clothing, and I would even try them on super cold days under my sentinel pants for snowboarding. Highly recommend!

I wanted a cool/cold weather pant for my planned winter training and tried these in-store. I wasn't 100% convinced at the time, they are very comfortable and remind me of wearing an Atom for your legs but after having the hybrid version I was skeptical on the fit and how they would move...cue changing room lunges and squats and they seemed OK! I pulled the plug and purchased them, and in real life situational use I am super HAPPY. I've worn these on the mountain bike, for a run and a walk and they were great for all. The extra room in the thigh is perfect for freedom of movement and I honestly forget I'm wearing pants. They may not look super flattering due to the excess fabric (when stationary) but they are designed for movement and here they succeed. As others have noted they do come a little short on the leg but I don't mind this as they don't feel restrictive or rub and I can wear longer socks to keep the ankles warm. Also I did notice that the stitching on the inner thigh could be felt and I was worried this could chafe/cause irritation but it doesn't and I stop noticing it when moving for a longer period. Also wanted to note, the back pocket I haven't used for anything apart from tissues but there is a small pocket on the left inner leg that could house a key and be more secure. My one concern is the fabric does seem delicate so time will tell on durability. I'm 5'7, approx 130lbs and the cut falls just above the ankle (purchased a size 6). Pairs well underneath the beta pant (waterproofs). Pro's: Insulation is warm, comfy and cozy (pillow like comfort) Con's: a little short on the leg,
