great jacket

i really like my new Thorium jacket. it's very warm and there are lots of pockets for all the stuff i need to carry. i love the fit of the hood, and the arms are a tad long, which is a great feature. the hips are a bit snug, which is why i only gave it four stars. the description mentioned the jacket fit larger than the previous edition so i was surprised at the snugness. i would have preferred a little bit more room. i love the jacket though and will get lots of use out of it. i'd recommend it for sure but would suggest you try one on in person before ordering online.

Beau et chaud

J’utilise ce manteau en dessous de ma coquille sentinel pour faire du ski en station lorsqu’il fait très froid. Il est chaud et confortable et s’ajuste bien au sentinel. Le capuchon est assez grand pour aller par-dessus le casque de ski. Le manteau est aussi bien à porter tout seul.

Great all round winter jacket

Rated this jacket 4/5 because even with my kyanite base layer and 800 down fill light jacket underneath, the thorium did not prevent the wind from coming through, although the hood was reliable. I would rate this jacket 5/5 under -20c with minimal wind chill. However, adding a windchill over -5c plus, this jacket was seriously lacking for Artic like temps, in Calgary winters. Overall, comfortable fit, coverage great and hood easily fits over hat.

Good but you change the interior of pockets. Not soft anymore. Could be more adjustments. The mecanism at the hoody just broke at the first pull.

It's so lightweight, comfortable and warm! It's my first time wearing a quality winter coat and I am so happy with it. I've seen reviews say that it fits a bit big but I am 5"7 and I usually wear medium and even small sizes and I got the XL because it was the only one available in store and I'm super happy with the fit. I can wear big hoodies with it and even with nothing under it doesn't feel too roomy.

I am utterly obsessed with this Jacket. My boyfriend works at Arc’teryx and highly recommended the jackets! Living in prairies the Thorium Hoody is light weight but keeps me so warm in these -30 temperatures!!

J’adore le manteau et la couleur. Malheureusement, j’ai dû le retourner en magasin car le XL était trop grand. Si jamais il vous reste quelque part un manteau comme celui-ci de grandeur L, laissez-le moi savoir.
