Support Administrator

We are looking for a detail oriented individual with an analytical mindset to join our Information Systems department as a Support Administrator. In this role you will provide development, implementation and end user support for corporate applications and software tools, including a custom built ERP system and web-based application, and assists with the prioritization and tracking of system issues and modifications.

Ideally you will have:

  • High aptitude to learn and use new custom computer software
  • Strong knowledge of computer applications and software such as Microsoft Office
  • Solid verbal communication skills for explaining system and business concepts / processes to end-users
  • Outstanding customer service skills, including the ability to work professionally with end users of varying levels of computer competency
  • Strong trouble-shooting skills for problem-solving
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Self-starter with initiative to investigate potential problems and issues, and propose solutions
  • Familiarity with a production and manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with a testing regimen and with development / testing environments
  • Strong written communication skills for creating and maintaining systems documentation
  • Familiarity with the TAS application
  • Interest in SQL
  • Previous work experience in a user-support environment, training, or customer service
  • Interest or involvement in activities that we make products for

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide end user support for all IT related issues including, but not limited to, TAS and TASWeb
  • Record problems, enhancements, and other user requests into a custom issue tracking system
  • Trouble-shoot and problem solve various software, business process, and end user issues
  • Administer the TAS and TASWeb systems environments (setup tables, user logins, system access, etc.)
  • Provide training for external representatives on the use of TASWeb
  • Assist in testing enhancements and bug fixes related to TAS, TASWeb, and website development
  • Assist in maintaining system and user documentation as directed by the Manager, Information Systems
  • Assist the Manager, Information Systems and Director, Information Systems in other specific tasks and projects
  • Strong written communication skills for creating and maintaining systems documentation
