Store Manager - Full Time

Arc’teryx is opening its first ever company owned store on the iconic Piccadilly street in London and to lead this world class experience we are now looking for a passionate and energetic Store Manager. As a successful candidate, you will have strong leadership skills, a passion for the outdoors and a commitment to perfection. You will have an extensive history working in retail and five or more years’ experience working as a Store Manager preferably in outdoor retail in the London area. Working together with a dedicated Arc'teryx team you will manage all aspects of running the store including: managing your team, achieving sales targets, meeting or exceeding all other KPIs and ensuring a world class Arc'teryx brand experience for all our customers.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Securing the net sales and achieving KPIs in an efficient, cost effective and profitable way according to the Amer Sports Retail Guidelines and the Brand Guidelines
  • Ensuring world class customer service and creating and enhancing the Arc’teryx brand experience in the store
  • Delivering the store’s net sales targets
  • Applying, respecting and implementing the necessary processes and actions to minimise loss
  • Managing the flow of products and analysing both sales and restocking with reactivity
  • Demonstrating, understanding, applying and transmitting decisions from the Retail HQ
  • Analysing and performing reports of the store’s results and KPI (weekly and monthly) according to the Retail Guidelines
  • Motivating and leading staff through daily, weekly and monthly targets
  • Hiring, training, and scheduling retail staff while maintaining payroll targets

Your profile:

  • Five or more years of experience working as a Store Manager preferably in outdoor retail in the London area
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business relevant field
  • Previous management experience of teams in excess of 10 within a retail environment Previous store opening experience
  • Fluent English skills required, knowledge of a second language is an advantage
  • Ability to work weekends and nights
  • Good command of MS Office
  • Passion for the outdoors
