Four Pins Visits Arc'teryx Vancouver Factory

Tiré à Quatre Épingles is an old French saying which translates to held by four pins but basically means well dressed, impeccable, and of the best quality. And so, we were very happy recently to welcome the well-dressed gentlemen from Four Pins to Vancouver for a tour of our factory. We wanted to show them our impeccable attention to detail in the pursuit of making the best quality gear possible. (See what we did there? OK, we'll stop now.)

Details, like most things, are still being made by hand – fabric being cut and seams being bonded – by expert tailors. Or the fact that a single jacket takes almost six hours to make, passing through eighty pairs of hands along the way, for a total of over 250 steps altogether. That's just a snapshot, so check out the full article for the rest of the story.
