The Rainier20twelve Expedition
On August 14th, the Rainier20twelve expedition, climbed Mount Rainier in memory of two park rangers who had passed away earlier this year. The group consisted of five individuals who have strong family ties to the park and a deep love for the outdoors. The goal was to show their support and raise funds for the families of those lost.
The expedition took three days, with base camp on Ingraham Flats at 11,000 feet, reaching summit on August 16th at 5:15 in the morning. The Arc'teryx gear that came along on this trip were the Beta AR Jacket, Gamma AR Pants, Acto MX Jacket, Beta AR Pants, Alpha SV Gloves, and the Cierzo 35 Pack.
Since the team was made up entirely of photographers and creatives, naturally they came back with a ton of amazing photos and video footage. We've put a handful of the pictures in an album on our Facebook page [http://www.facebook.com/arcteryx], and a short documentary is in the works, so we'll keep you posted when it's ready.
