Arc'athlete Attempts Guinness World Record

Arc'athlete Adam Campbell will be attempting to break a Guinness World Record at the Victoria Marathon this weekend, to become the fastest man to run a marathon in a business suit.

You probably already know that Adam is a former member of the Canadian National Triathlon and Duathlon teams, and a world-class ultramarathon runner. What you might not know, though, is that he's also a lawyer, and therefore has a few suits hanging in his closet right next to all of his Arc' running gear.

Along with his world-record attempt, Adam is also raising awareness and funds for Access Pro Bono, a non-profit charitable society dedicated to providing free legal representation and services for non-profit organizations and people of limited means.

We're big fans of the Victoria Marathon –a beautiful ferry ride over from Arc'teryx HQ – and we have a few of our own folks (Liz and Lisa) running on Sunday. If you happen to be there this weekend, wish them and Adam the best of luck in the race!
